Pinnacle DB/OLB #0 – Kash SilvaKash Silva was as steady as they come on the defensive end, and did his best to completely flip the game on special teams, too. The blocked punt that got taken back for a touchdown in this one is the obvious headliner — perfect get-off, great timing, and the kind of swing play that can completely flip momentum — but it’s everything else he did that makes him such an easy choice here. As a former DB who’s added weight and slid into that outside backer/nickel role, he moves with a smoothness you don’t usually see out there in the flat, able to carry routes, trigger downhill on quick game, and still be physical enough to fit the run. Against a Williams Field offense with a sharp quarterback and real threats at receiver, Kash held up in coverage, tackled well in space, and gave Pinnacle a legit matchup piece they could trust in tough assignments.

Kash Silva Kash Silva 5'10" | 185 lbs | DB Pinnacle | 2027 State AZ was the spark plug on special teams for Pinnacle and a problem at linebacker. He blocked a punt for a touchdown to push it to a two‑score game, then followed it up on the next series with a drive‑killing sack. Former DB who’s added good weight and slid into that outside linebacker spot without losing the speed or fluid hips — you see it in how he closes to the flat and fits the run. He moved smoothly and played on instinct all night.

Silva is an active and instinctive defender with excellent read and react ability and strong eye discipline. 5’11” 185 lbs. he’s got a well-built frame with good athleticism and closing speed. He processes plays quickly, staying locked in on keys and rarely falling for misdirection. His quick trigger allows him to close downhill in a hurry, whether filling gaps in the run game or breaking on short passes in coverage. He plays fast but under control, showing great pursuit angles and the ability to redirect in space. When he arrives at the ball, he brings strong and physical contact finishing tackles with to the ground with aggression/power. Great nose for the football and impacts the game with high motor, intelligence, and physicality. Can play and be effective from a variety of positions on the defensive side.
