About Henry

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I impact the game, playing with a physical, ultra-consistent style. I’ve proven to be the reliable go-to option in critical situations. I excel downfield with strong technique, high effort, and a finishing mentality that sets the tone. In the passing game, I’m trusted when it matters most, showing dependable hands, focus in traffic, and the ability to secure key catches under pressure.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I bring a tough, disciplined mindset to everything I do. As a former quarterback, I understand the game at a high level and take pride in preparation. I’m physically tough, mentally strong, and morally grounded. I’m a student of the game who studies film on my own, very coachable, and I love to practice. I’m highly competitive but even-keeled and composed at all times.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m consistent and disciplined in everything I do, on and off the field. I’m regularly recognized for strong academics and am a member of the National Honor Society. I'm a class valedictorian candidate. Outside of football, I’ve competed in 4-H trapshooting for six years, qualifying for the largest youth state championship each year, building focus, discipline, and poise under pressure.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As the son of a NCAA Division 1 All-American and an Army Ranger I was shown everyday that dedication, preparation, and leadership are life skills. My parents instilled in me early that mental and physical toughness are not negotiable for success. I learned that my success is up to me and my effort. I strive to be a great teammate on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I spend 10-15 hours every week in the offseason working with trainers, professional coaches, and elite athletes- This is outside of lifting and weight room activities. I take a lot of pride in dedication to getting better everyday. In addition, I'm on Nebraska's most elite and accomplished 7v7 national level travel team. I have big hands for blocking and catching.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a football program where I can continue my love for the game while developing as a player and being valued as a teammate on and off the field. Strong academics are important to me to prepare for my future career. I’m drawn to a football program that reflects midwestern values, accountability, no BS, and hard work.
