The Jersey Shore AYF All-Stars have been a dominant force over the better part of the last decade, having won the AYF All-Star tournament five times. More than that, the 14U team is the reigning back-to-back-to back National Champions and this past weekend they took their first steps towards championship number six. The Quarterback group was the smallest position to try out, but there were some dudes that clearly separated themselves.

Additional Quarterback Tryout Notes

[player_tooltip player_id='1256834' first='Derek' last='Grasso'] | Middletown - Was certainly shorter than Weaver and Hunter--and possibly Rivera too--but stood out a little bit. Threw a nice deep ball but didn't have the arm strength or overall ability as the other three showed at the tryout. Once Grasso tacks on a few more inches and can stand up straight in the pocket, rather than banding his plant foot to be able to throw the ball over the line of scrimmage, we'll get a better look at his true ability.
