Expert Analysis
Caleb Holfoth | Prep Redzone Scout
Brosseau, a big defensive end prospect who often plays an EDGE/OLB position for Choate Rosemary Hall, made his pledge to Dartmouth to stay in a similar region to where he played his prep ball in the United States. Brousseau picked up a few FCS offers from schools in the northeast before making his pledge mid-September.

is one of the top defensive prospects out of Quebec for the class of 2025. Brosseau can play as a defensive end in a 3-4 or a 4-3 defense because of his speed and strength combination. He has experience lining up in both a two and three-point stance. He uses his speed well to rush the passer as well as crash down in run support. Brosseau is excellent at setting the edge as can push offensive tackles back into the quarterback while he maintains outside leverage and keeps contain. He also has a good understanding of how to use his hands to win for offensive tackles. The one area he can improve during his senior season is his Bend as he has shown flashes of a good Bend move, but it often lacks consistency. Despite that Brosseau is a true NCAA Division One prospect who can play in any defense while having the physical tools to produce at the college level.

Choate Rosemary Hall ‘25/DE/OLB/Edge/6’3 225lbs
A relentless pursuer is what you get with this young man. Makes very good use of his paws when attacking and penetrating the backfield. Doesn’t give up during reps until play is over. Doesn’t appear to over-pursue while holding the edge. He has the athletic ability to recover if he doesn’t over-pursue. He demonstrates a consistent ability to overpower or out-quick HS offensive linemen. His meaurables align with FBS group of 5 and /or High FCS defensive linemen. His athletic numbers need to be confirmed for projection to next level.
Accolades Earned: Team Captain, 2021-22 Team Defensive MVP, 2022-2023 Lineman of the Year, Athlete of the Year 2023

has been up to so far at CRH, this work will keep him high on the rankings. The Choate Rosemary Hall coaching staff is getting a bit creative with Brosseau’s pre-snap alignment. In most cases, you will likely see him in a traditional EDGE alignment, yet Choate flirts with having Brosseau work from a backer position, outside or in. I don’t usually see a kid get reps at EDGE then ILB on the next play. Brosseau is capable, thanks to his off-season work ethic in the weight room. The kid’s body is built for front-seven football. Couple of forced fumbles on tape, couple would-be sacks. Fantastic motor that revs to the whistle, ton of displacement seen from snap to final whistle, he’ll circle back two-times over to get to the ball carrier. This is a player you can win with and/or because of.
