During these plays, Schepman showcased his speed and route-running abilities, as well as having a knack for slipping behind the defense. He runs the football with physicality and intensity. Boyle County held him without a touchdown (the first time he failed to score in a game this season), but he was a threat to break off a big play any time the ball was in his hands. He already has offers from the Air Force, Navy, and Butler. Those stats might not pop on paper, but Wedding was doing the dirty work on offense and defense all night long. Wedding passes the look test as well. At 6'1" and 185 pounds, he has good size and speed, as well as a high IQ that includes quick reaction timing on defense, hitting gaps when he's running the ball, or picking up blocks on pass plays. He commanded the offense well and made only one mistake (a pick-six), but proved that he has what it takes to start at the varsity level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>DL JT Brown -- Brown brought the energy to Lex Cath's defense in the first half when they were struggling. He made a few chase-down tackles and broke into the backfield more than once.
