He also ran for another score. He and [player_tooltip player_id='1349657' first='David' last='Ledbetter'] connected on three of the scores. One of the touchdown passes was a beautiful back-shoulder fade ball into the back of the left side of the end zone, putting it in a spot only the receiver could catch. Ledbetter caught three passes, and all of them were for touchdowns. He finished with 98 receiving yards. After only catching three passes for 24 yards in the first three games, Ledbetter made his presence felt against Mt. St. Joseph. Moving forward, I have to think he'll see more targets. He also caught one pass for 20 yards. Dale is on the smaller side (5-6, 140 pounds) but had some quickness to him and runs hard. He's not easy to bring down. He carried the football 16 times for 225 yards and three touchdowns and caught two passes for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Game film confirms that at least one touchdown run was for about 11 yards. A highlight of his touchdown catch shows him going in motion, catching the swing pass out of the backfield, and turning upfield to race 60 yards downfield. sideline for the touchdown.
