Week 4 is here, and some of Nevada's biggest playmakers are preparing to take center stage under the Friday night lights. The state is loaded with high-level talent this season, and several prospects have already put together monster performances through the opening weeks. This weekend brings another opportunity for Nevada's best to make statements, especially with multiple programs taking on premier out-of-state competition. From Power Four commits and nationally recognized prospects to seniors putting up video-game numbers, there will be plenty of talent to follow across the Silver State. Here are eight Nevada playmakers who could take over the field in Week 4. Tucker has an elite arm and can make throws to every part of the field, giving the Lancers the ability to attack defenses vertically. That same toughness translates to linebacker, where his instincts, motor, and ability to find the football make him a difference-maker defensively. Expect Reno to lean heavily on Mathews Friday night when the Huskies battle Sequoia from California.     Few players in Nevada have started the season hotter than Jermaine Wilson, who continues to put up video-game numbers for Sloan Canyon. The senior running back is averaging more than 200 rushing yards per game and has quickly established himself as one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the state. Wilson brings an elite combination of speed, strength, explosion, and contact balance that allows him to dominate between the tackles while still possessing home-run ability in the open field. Give him a crease and he can take it the distance, but he is just as comfortable lowering his shoulder and running through defenders. Wilson will look to continue his monster senior season Friday night in a big matchup against Somerset Losee. Friday night gives Savea Tanielu a major opportunity to make a statement when Losee battles Jermaine Wilson and Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon. The Patriots will battle Utah powerhouse Skyridge, and Sanelivi will need to be at his best if Liberty wants to come away with a statement victory. The senior has all the tools of a high-level college running back with size, power, explosiveness, and the ability to punish defenders at the point of contact. Sanelivi can grind out tough yards between the tackles before exploding through the second level and turning a routine carry into a huge play. This is the type of stage where a Power Four prospect can make a statement, and all eyes should be on Sanelivi against Skyridge. The Centennial standout is averaging around 140 receiving yards per game while producing against a schedule filled with quality out-of-state competition. Thomas has the elite size and speed combination every college program wants, along with the ability to stretch the field and completely change a game with one reception. His combination of physicality, athleticism, and big-play ability creates matchup problems regardless of who lines up across from him. Centennial gets another major test against Arizona powerhouse Perry on Friday, and Thomas could be the player who swings the game in the Bulldogs' favor. The Oregon State commit is a four-year starter who brings the experience, leadership, and confidence needed to handle a matchup of this magnitude.
