2028 Ranked Prospects Primed to Breakout

These are players who are having increased roles, coming off injury, becoming first year starters or have just had strong development over the past year. He did miss a chunk of soph. year with injury but he is back and ready to wreck havoc. A long lean muscle up frame that continues to fill out makes Cadence look every it the part. Runs like a deer with fluid hips and good COD ability. Sibedwo can dip &amp; rip, bend the edge and flatten down the line to make plays in the backfield. He closes quickly on the ball and can chase down from the backside. Can certainly see Cadence having a breakthrough season and be a huge rankings riser in the future. He is a deep ball threat with legit speed, running a verified 10.82 100M in track. Kaleb possesses nice length, soft hands and a big catch radius. He can find the ball and go get it over defenders. He's got a smooth stride and is able to glide past DBs either vertically or deep across the middle. Playing at both WR and DB and multiple spots at each. He can play out wide or in the slot and can play both FS and CB on defense. I think William's home will be as a slot WR at the next level, but for Sidwell he can play anywhere as a skill player. William showcases excellent ball skills, instincts and a big catch radius. He is quick to break on the pass as DB and will go attack the ball in the air at WR making difficult catches look routine. Effective as a ball carrier as well, William is effective in the jet sweep/quick game and is dynamic with the ball in his hands. A versatile player, Ian has played RB/WR/S/LB. He is an athletic player with nice size, frame and build, passing the eye ball test. Twitchy for his build with good acceleration and overall physical play, Ian can do it all on the field for Woodlawn. Down the line I like him best as possibly hybrid SS/OLB. Max is a QB with good size and is a strong armed lefty thrower. An accurate passer across all 3 levels of the passing game, he sees the field well and knows how to get it to his athletes. Max showcases good pocket mobility and awareness. Able to doge rushers, move around the pocket and scramble to extend the play and find open receivers. He is able to get the ball out quick and make all the throws, Max is a dynamic passer with a live arm. He is a well slapped together player who carries his weight well. Jayquan is able to play OT or OG offering nice positional versatility. He plays with nice power and strength, while also showing active feet. Able to get into defenders chest and drive them out of the play in the run game. While as a pass blocker he is able to sink his hips, have a strong base, and become a wall defenders cannot get past. With his size, ability to play with force, and have some nasty to his game - look for Jayquan to have moments of domination this season.
