The Tennessee high school football season begins in just a few days. After a long offseason, we are finally back to the sport that we all love. With new seasons come breakout players, unknown commodities who make a name for themselves and even players who were good but have taken that next step in their football journey.

Starting today, I'm doing a new series about each position where I find five players who you and college coaches need to buy stock in. Kicking things off, I have the quarterbacks. Each one is a bit different in their own ways, but definitely good enough to buy stock in for this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1668404' first='Max' last='Warner'] is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in Tennessee. He transferred from White County this offseason, as the system did not fit his skills. Since arriving at Stone Memorial, he's impressed many people during practices and 7v7 work.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound passer is a natural thrower of the football, possesses high football IQ, is capable of completing passes all over the yard and is developing a stronger arm. He's made some big strides since last offseason, and is due for a breakout season in 2026. I would not be surprised to see him throw for almost 2,000 yards in an offense that lets him air it out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1717494' first='Nate' last='Brick'] from Christian Brothers High School doesn't get enough respect. The 2029 prospect is one of the top offensive players in the state, but is somewhat unknown to a lot of people not in the Memphis area. Despite the lack of recognition, this kid has it all.

He offers a large frame for his age, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 185 pounds with a lean, athletic frame. Brick has an absolute cannon of an arm with the ability to push the ball downfield, some of the top accuracy in his class, the velocity to fit passes into tight windows and great mechanics.

The sophomore needs to become better in certain areas, but he could be a blue-chip QB if he continues this pace. He has all the necessary tools and physical stature to be one of the best overall players in his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292341' first='Corbin' last='Hobson'] is the No. 1 quarterback that people are not talking about. He posted decent stats at Farragut High School the last few seasons, but was never able to put his talents on full display. Now that he's at GCA (Knoxville), he has a bevy of talented pass catchers and an offensive line that could be one of the best in Division II-AA.

He has underrated arm talent, can push the ball down the field, is a smart football player, has one of the more accurate arms in the 2027 class and is relatively mobile. Hobson doesn't have wheels like others in Tennessee, but he can create with the ball in his hands and even take off at times.

[player_tooltip player_id='424644' first='Kam' last='Morton'] transferred from Ensworth to Oakland last offseason. At the time, people didn't get just how talented a player he is, and they still don't. But he is due for a monster sophomore year as the full-time starting quarterback.

[player_tooltip player_id='866735' first='Donte' last='Cameron'] has moved to an athlete position, giving Morton free rein of the offense. He is a dual-threat player, but does not abuse his legs. The 2029 prospect is a pass-first quarterback with impressive arm talent. He has a powerful throwing arm with good accuracy, nice touch, polished technique and excellent instincts that help him be efficient.

[player_tooltip player_id='1217665' first='Chase' last='Bell'] transferred into Blackman High School this offseason, then proceeded to impress a lot of people at preseason scrimmages. Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 205 pounds, Bell has an impressive frame for his age and position. He's well-built with great physical tools and is one of the more polished passers in Tennessee.

Last season for South Warren (Ky.), he completed 77% of his 68 attempts for 628 yards and eight touchdowns to just one turnover. Now that he's the starter at Blackman, he's poised to have a big year. He currently holds six Division I offers, including one from Maryland.
