Anderson v. North College Hill Scrimmage: Top Performers

We arrived at the second half of the scrimmage with a focus on Anderson and North College Hill. Struck me as the most active and high-impact player on the field who was constantly around the ball. Hits like a bullet on defense, very good and instinctive defender who flies to the ball and hits with force. Caught a touchdown on offense, displaying great hands and leaping ability. Very good in coverage on defense; had two interceptions, including a one-hander. Instinctive downhill hitter who can come to balance, stay parallel and wrap up. Has above-average closing speed. Great size-speed combination. More of a wrap-up guy, but takes good pursuit angles, very instinctive with quick read-and-reaction time. Can drop and cover. Can align in a three-point stance, plays with good bend, leverage and can dent back blockers, shed and wrap up in a pile. Strong v. the run, very disruptive edge rusher who can deliver heavy hits for opposing QBs. Good backside pursuit, good range and motor. Good adjustment to the ball high/low, Not exceptionally fast, but has some burst off the LOS, flashes some RAC with ability to make defenders miss after the catch. Good balance in space through contact. Caught an early touchdown. Holds 11 offers. Really impressed with his effort throughout the day. Flashes good anchor strength, hard to move from his spot. Was frequently doubled up, but manages to shed, stay in the hunt, and finds a way to rush the Q. Good use-of-hands, very active feet, flashes a dangerous spin move.  What impresses me the most is his motor and high effort.
