The 2026 season in Ohio has been a good one so far and features to be some of the most talented in the Buckeye State as several prospects made a name for themselves, contributing on varsity and/or having enough size and speed to make big impacts. Here are four senior prospects from Ohio who came ready to play throughout the first half of the season, making big-time contributions on their high school team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1850796' first='Grant' last='Kuhnle'] from Sandusky High School is an early standout through the first four weeks of the season. Big, tall, strong 6-foot-4, 205-pound quarterback looks the part. He has a quick release and looks very accurate, hitting receivers in stride over the middle of the field and flashing good touch and accuracy on the deep ball. He has led his team admirably to a 3-0 record, with big wins over Villa-Angela St. Joseph, St. Francis DeSales and Toledo Scott High School. No offers; very under-the-radar quarterback.

[player_tooltip player_id='2235345' first='Mason' last='Heil'] is a very good defensive end for Perry High School. The 6-foot-1, 250-pound prospect has a big wingspan, can turn the corner/run the hoop, long arm opposing tackles and takes great angles to the quarterback as a pass rusher. Strong at holding the point of attack and occupying multiple blockers in the run game. Plays with good knee bend, can cross face of opposing guards, wrap up in a pile and makes good open-field tackles.

Drew Seuss, a Class of 2027 prospect for Vandalia-Butler, is having a strong senior year, with 512 total yards and six touchdowns. Seuss is very good at throwing with defenders in his face, making tough completions under duress. Strong arm with good velocity over the middle of the field. Looks very calm and cerebral, makes good reads, scans the field well, and pulls the trigger with a good feel for pressure. Team is off to a hot start at 3-0.

[player_tooltip player_id='1343636' first='Larkin' last='Thomas'], a Class of 2027 prospect, has impressed at the halfway point of the season. The 6-foot-0, 190 pound quarterback for Tippecanoe High School (Ohio) throws a good, accurate deep ball and hits receivers in stride. Thomas is a legit dual threat who can make plays with his legs, buy time, roll out and throw on the move. Keeps plays alive and milks for best possible outcome. Has more than 1,000 yards running and passing with 18 touchdowns.
