Their season eventually ended with an overtime loss to Pendleton County in the quarterfinals, just short of a semifinal appearance. He added another 646 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground, giving East Hardy a quarterback who can punish defenses whether the ball is in his hands as a passer or runner. Roof has the arm talent to make every throw and the athleticism to create when a play breaks down, making him one of the toughest players in Class A to defend.
