2027 Pocahontas County ATH Griffin Taylor Griffin Taylor 6'0" | 170 lbs | ATH/K Pocahontas County | 2027 WV was one of the Warriors’ most valuable players as a junior, earning Honorable Mention Class A All-State honors and First Team All-Potomac Valley Conference recognition at linebacker. Taylor also stepped up at quarterback when needed and earned Second Team All-Potomac honors at the position, showing the versatility that makes him an important player for Pocahontas County. Head coach Doug Burns named him the team’s Most Outstanding Player, another reflection of how much Taylor contributed throughout the season. Expect the Warriors to find plenty of ways to use him again as a senior, with his athleticism allowing him to impact the game in multiple phases.
