<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Per usual rankings are based on who projects highest at the collegiate level. You can be an outstanding HS athlete and not project to high level of collegiate ball. Have a look at the Oregon Top 250 as we break down #51-100 with updated offers and commitments.</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>*PLEASE NOTE: 50+ athletes were added to the 2027 rankings board so multiple individuals will drop numerous spots for that reason alone.&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>COMPLETE LIST (Top 250)</strong> <a href="https://prepredzone.com/oregon/rankings/2027-rankings/">https://prepredzone.com/oregon/rankings/2027-rankings/</a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DEFENSE</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1569382' first='Cade' last='Pettersen'] of North Medford is one of the top multi-sport athletes in Oregon, being named the SWC POY in baseball, after earning 2<sup>nd</sup>&nbsp;team all-league honors for the second year in a row and averaging 13.5 tackles per game on the football field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If we are talking on some of the fastest rising prospects statewide, there are a handful of athletes who made a significant jump up the rankings board from the defensive side of the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='2090563' first='Robbie' last='Capers'] of 5A title contender Mountain View is an athlete we've talked about a lot this offseason. He jumped an impressive 70 spots in the rankings from the last update and will project as more of an outside backer. 6-4 200-pound DB <strong>Saxon Brock </strong>of Ashland has impressed on the camp circuit and brings legit versatility to the secondary with his size. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Track star [player_tooltip player_id='1245773' first='Asa' last='Kirkland'] jumped 55 spots on the rankings board and will project as a 1<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;team all Mt Hood and all state LB. Look for him and 2<sup>nd</sup>&nbsp;team all-conference returner [player_tooltip player_id='1242810' first='Ty' last='Hill'] to provide veteran leadership for a top 5 Nelson program.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1708653' first='Sebastian' last='Molyneux'] of Lakeridge is very similar to Kirkland in that he jumped 44 spots and could be one of the best DB's in the TRL. 6-2 235-pound OLB/DE [player_tooltip player_id='1569381' first='Levi' last='Klostreich'] of Sherwood returns after earning 1<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;team all-league honors as he will be a Pacific Conference POY favorite.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As referenced numerous times Sandy has a plethora of athletes who should help them compete for a 5A title this coming season. [player_tooltip player_id='1566153' first='Mason' last='Frederickson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='937297' first='Gracyn' last='Fitch'] are two of the biggest reasons with Frederickson being one of the top overall players in Oregon, and a conference and state POY candidate defensively. Fitch is incredibly versatile being a 1<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;team all Mt Hood LB and 2x all conference WR. From a recruitment standpoint it's just a size thing.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the most intriguing prospects for the Pioneers is [player_tooltip player_id='1742820' first='Hudson' last='Pearson']. The 6-2 175 pounder was reported by Sandy Football to have run a 4.33 40-yard dash. If accurate, that's puts him in an elite category and completely changes the game on the recruiting front.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A few other LB's who you will consistently hear about include 1<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;team all Mt Hood returner [player_tooltip player_id='1119887' first='Duncan' last='Wellman'], state statistical leader [player_tooltip player_id='1566150' first='Cohen' last='Trump'] of Westview, and [player_tooltip player_id='1426821' first='Peyton' last='Daffern Schell'] of Milwaukie who at 6-3 190 has a great frame with the ability to add some significant size.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two other noteworthy TRL DB's include [player_tooltip player_id='937103' first='Cole' last='Callahan'] of Lake O and [player_tooltip player_id='937116' first='Jackson' last='Morris'] of Tigard. Callahan could potentially be a 1<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;or 2<sup>nd</sup>&nbsp;team all conference athlete on both sides of the football and Morris is undersized but always one of the top DB's at camps and against elite competition.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On the defensive front [player_tooltip player_id='1358887' first='Scottland' last='Telesa'] was an absolute monster last season for Aloha, being named the lineman of the year within the conference and a 1<sup>st</sup>&nbsp;team all-state selection. 6-5 215 pound DE [player_tooltip player_id='1708645' first='John' last='Alexander'] is another athlete high on the board. It will be interesting to see how he does with the Gladstone program struggling.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
