A powerful, hard-running back from rural Georgia, Cannon can get tough yards in the trenches and while wearing down on a defense throughout the game. He's hard to tackle and has enough speed to break off a big run up the middle. The Dublin native shared the load in the running game last fall as a junior, running for 934 yards and eight touchdowns, hitting the 100-yard mark four times while averaging seven yards per carry. Cannon has a chance to be one of the region's top running backs this upcoming season.

One of the more underrated backs in Cobb County, Grant is a physical back with plenty of size at 5-foot-11 230-pounds. He's heavy, runs behind his pads, and consistently found the end-zone last season for the Marietta Blue Devils. He bounces off defenders and does a great job of staying balanced after first contact, helping him rush for 612 yards and an eye-opening 18 touchdowns. He's one of the best goal-line backs in metro-Atlanta bound for an even bigger senior season this fall. If he does, don't be surprised if some late offers come his way this winter.

A tough, slippery back in the metro-Atlanta area flying under the radar, Dorsey didn't light up the stat sheet last year, but he did flash eady D1-caliber talent when given an opportunity to run the ball. The quick, dynamic back at Shiloh stands at 5-foot-10 180-pounds and is coming off a promising 2025 season where he ran for 339 yards and three touchdowns on 56 carries. With Shiloh replacing their two leading rushers from last season, look for Dorsey to lead the way on the ground as a senior this upcoming season. He has the potential to push for All-Region honors and was an easy addition to the latest Prep Redzone rankings.

A shifty two-way athlete who ran the ball effective last season for Social Circle, Paggett showed good visions out of the backfield and above-average athleticism, rushing for 700 yards and 10 touchdowns, hitting the 100-yard mark twice. He can make defenders miss in the open field, shows good burst, and has the potential to be one of the leading backs across the Athens area this upcoming season as a senior. He's one to keep a close eye on this fall.

An Atlanta-area back with impressive vision and burst, Tate is coming off a productive junior season last fall where he ran for over 800 yards and nine touchdowns, rushing for 100 yards in two ballgames. The 5-foot-8 190-pounder has his best football ahead of him and should improve even more as a senior this fall. He never gives up on a play, can make defenders miss, and could push for All-Region honors in 2026. Look for him to be one the leading running backs in Atlanta for the upcoming season.
