An Atlanta-area back with impressive vision and burst, Tate is coming off a productive junior season last fall where he ran for over 800 yards and nine touchdowns, rushing for 100 yards in two ballgames. The 5-foot-8 190-pounder has his best football ahead of him and should improve even more as a senior this fall. He never gives up on a play, can make defenders miss, and could push for All-Region honors in 2026. Look for him to be one the leading running backs in Atlanta for the upcoming season.

One of the more underrated backs in Atlanta, Tate is a shifty back who can slash his way through defenders down the field. He runs with patience and does a good job of bursting through a hole when it opens up. He brings above-average speed and acceleration that allows him to be a big-play threat when he has the ball. The sleeper back at Maynard Jackson ran for 813 yards and nine touchdowns last fall as a junior in just 11 games. Look for him to be added to the next 2027 Prep Redzone rankings next month.
