A powerful, hard-running back from rural Georgia, Cannon can get tough yards in the trenches and while wearing down on a defense throughout the game. He’s hard to tackle and has enough speed to break off a big run up the middle. The Dublin native shared the load in the running game last fall as a junior, running for 934 yards and eight touchdowns, hitting the 100-yard mark four times while averaging seven yards per carry. Cannon has a chance to be one of the region’s top running backs this upcoming season.

Another powerful, tackle-breaking back flying under the radar, Cannon is a physical, between the tackles back who runs hard and can carry defenders with him down the field. If hw’s not wrapped up properly, he’s not going down to the ground. He can line up at fullback and is a great option in short-yardage situations. At 6-foot-0 180-pounds, he runs like someone who is 200+ pounds and he’s one of the top returning backs in the region after rushing for an impressive 934 yards and 8 TDs as a junior last year. Look for Cannon to lead the Dublin rushing attack as a senior in 2026.
