Mountain of a back who is packed into his 5’11 frame at 220 pounds. Possesses true bell cow features with the ability to move the pile, carve down defenses, and absorb body shots. Possesses better athleticism and twitch than most RBs with his size and body type. Consistently proves he can get his body vertical, outangle defenders, and generate explosives. I have a D1 grade on Grant.
One of the more underrated backs in Cobb County, Grant is a physical back with plenty of size at 5-foot-11 230-pounds. He’s heavy, runs behind his pads, and consistently found the end-zone last season for the Marietta Blue Devils. He bounces off defenders and does a great job of staying balanced after first contact, helping him rush for 612 yards and an eye-opening 18 touchdowns. He’s one of the best goal-line backs in metro-Atlanta bound for an even bigger senior season this fall. If he does, don’t be surprised if some late offers come his way this winter.
One of the heaviest backs you’ll find in Cobb County and the metro-Atlanta area, Grant was a touchdown machine for the Marietta Blue Devils last fall, rushing for 18 touchdowns as a junior last fall. A bowling ball of a back who can wear down defenses, Grant is an intimidating back with plenty of size at 5-foot-11 230-pounds. Not only does he break tackles and dominate in short-yardage situations, but he’s also consistent, rushing for 612 yards and and averaging over five yards per carry. He’s one to keep a close eye on next fall as a senior.
