Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Archie has been a pretty steady player for a few years, and while he is currently committed to Stony Brook, I still feel like there is potential for even more this fall, both as a prospect and production-wise. He is listed at 6’3 170, and a mismatch vertically. He flashes some juice and deception in his routes, consistently getting DBs to bite and misplay. Archie has always been traitsy, and it could be a big fall for him if he produces against good competition.

An impressive route-runner in Cobb County with the potential to have a breakout season next fall, Archie will be a major weapon in the Marietta passing attack next year due to his ability to get open consistently and make a secure catch down the field. One of the top sophomore wideouts in the region last year, Archie is a 6-foot-1 175-pounder who hauled in 21 passes during the 2025 season for 345 yards and two touchdowns. Don’t be surprised if his recruitment picks up down the road.

Playing both ways, dominated both ways! Archie caught a great over the shoulder touchdown and showed his ball skills. He is one of those who can star on both sides of the ball and impact the team in major ways. He is super athletic, has outstanding hand-eye coordination, he’s an all-around weapon that will be a major piece to Marrietta this season!

Archie served as a consistent vertical stressor throughout the tournament. With a big frame and power-forward type athleticism, he thrives at the catch point. His tracking ability on deep balls stood out — locating the football early and adjusting his stride without losing speed.
He competes aggressively when the ball is in the air, finishing through contact and making defenders feel his presence. His size makes him a problem on fades and back-shoulder throws, but he’s not just a jump-ball specialist. When he builds momentum, he’s a legitimate downfield weapon who forces corners to turn and run.

Big target on the outside. Good ATH with basketball background. Raw, but moves well. Long, natural strides. Tracks well over shoulder. Does a good job getting inside receivers and leaving them boxed out. Impressize size/speed combo. Should develop nicely. Will play better comp this fall. A candidate to burst onto the scene this spring.

One of the fastest-rising receivers in Cobb County for the 2027 class, Archie is a sure-handed pass-catcher coming off a big sophomore season for North Cobb Christian where he caught 34 passes for 562 yards and 10 touchdowns. A good athlete who can get open and make plays down the field, Archie will take his talent to Marietta for his junior season where he could put up giant numbers as a junior. He’s now ranked as the No. 29 WR in the state for his class.

A sleeper sophomore wideout with good size, hands, and consistency, Archie is a long-strider with a promising frame that allows him to beat defensive backs in the area both with his size, above-average speed, and ability to stretch the field. He’s one of the top players in the region and is coming off a strong sophomore season where he caught 34 passes for 562 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was a big-play machine with a knack for finding the endzone. He’s now ranked as the No. 27 WR and the No. 170 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2027 class.
