Dakotas 2027 RBs That Need More Attention Playing on Saturdays

After wrapping up the near end of camp season, we circle back into some of the 2027 running backs in the Dakotas that might not have the attention they deserve as of yet, yet have a Saturday type grade coming from us at Prep Redzone Dakotas. If you recruit the Dakotas and are an RB coaching hunting for sleepers this is a good list to take a look at.   South Dakota    Our RB2 in the 2027 South Dakota rankings is still awaiting his first offer as we are talking about Watertown's [player_tooltip player_id='1293075' first='Lincoln' last='Schutt']. I haven't found Lincoln yet at any camps I have been to, but the bruising I am very surprised this late in the summer is still in the hunt for offer one. Lincoln doesn't take long to show how well-rounded he is and is one of the more blue-collar running backs still available in the Dakotas. He also shows off a lot of elusiveness in the open field regardless if he's catching the ball out of the backfield or utilzing his vision. He's one that I have a D2 grade who could be a sound NSIC or RMAC fit in my eyes.     Godwin actually just got his first offer from Morningside at the end of June, but our RB3 is another one out of Sioux Falls Washington that I thought might be farther along on his recruiting trail this late into summer. He was the offensive MVP from Sioux Falls Washington at the Augustana Team Camp in June and is one with really twitchy change of direction between the tackles. The 5'11 205 pounder, has an eye-catching first step that draws instinctive movement out the gates and can be a weapon along the edges that is tough to slow down in the open field.    North Dakota    Carter might be a little undersized at the moment for what college coaches are looking for, but you can't deny that this kid has the explosive traits you want to see from the jump of his tape. Carter also is a difference-maker when it comes to getting seperation in the open field as I like how this young man finishes his long runs with no let up speed not shown. Another impressive skillset that Carter has is how sudden his burst becomes coming off contact, as he shows off as a fearless runner off of that contact. No reported offers as of yet and light on the interest side as far as I can tell.     I got to see Nash at the VCSU Showcase Camp last summer and off the live eval, felt he was one of the best running backs in attendance in Valley City. Unfortunately he was sidelined due to injury as a junior but his growth coming back from that is starting to gain some traction for those college coaches out there. He's got the explosive traits you want to see heading into the second level and we hope that Nash becomes that senior bloomer that scholarship-level programs are looking for out a West Fargo Horace program that is starting to catch a lot of waves for sending athletes to the next-level.     One of the 2027 classes biggest speedsters in North Dakota that is yet to have a reported offer is former Nedrose now Minot North transfer running back [player_tooltip player_id='1319893' first='Davyion' last='Clemons']. Davyion has that pull-away seperation that could grow the stock of a running back room as one that is also very instinctive in finding the open field, as you just need to watch his first clip of last year to see all those skillsets mentioned in play. Davyion also boosts the vision into the second level that creates elsuiveness with his change of direction as one that can crank up his legs suddenly around the edge of the field. He's not one that I have found at camps this summer as of yet, but surely one that needs more attention.     Enoch has been one of the quiet ones out of West Fargo Sheyenne and comes from a program that has made a lot of noise on the recruiting trail with their 2027 group especially with their hog mollies up front who pave the way for Enoch. The 5'9 190 punder also has a great first step launching into his first cut which sets the tone early to seperate quickly from the DLs and LBs and cause the DBs to have to make the play downfield. The tape also shows persistence. I usually wouldn't catagorize an RB2 as a sleeper, but that's the case with Enoch as of right now as more coaches     If you want to know why Fargo Davies had so much success last year just pounding the rock like they do best, you might have to watch 2027 powerback [player_tooltip player_id='2100503' first='Henry' last='Hart']. This kid's like a fish in the water looking for bait, but in football terms that comes with his downhill blocking ability. When he does get the ball in his hands in the backfield, the 6'1 200 pounder shows off fluid athletic movement and good vision.
