I got to see Nash at the VCSU Showcase Camp last summer and off the live eval, felt he was one of the best running backs in attendance in Valley City. Unfortunately he was sidelined due to injury as a junior but his growth coming back from that is starting to gain some traction for those college coaches out there. He’s got the explosive traits you want to see heading into the second level and we hope that Nash becomes that senior bloomer that scholarship-level programs are looking for out a West Fargo Horace program that is starting to catch a lot of waves for sending athletes to the next-level.

One of the fastest running backs I saw at the Valley City State prospect camp last summer was West Fargo Horace running back Nash Cooke Nash Cooke 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB/LB West Fargo Horace | 2027 State ND . Our RB3 in the 2027 North Dakota, was a huge stockriser in this recent update and I beleive saw one of the biggest jumps out of our top 10 running backs in the state. Nash is another that burns with speed off contact in his junior tape and as we learned in the live eval this summer, is very fluid from start to finish. He shows off the explosive traits and balance you want to have in your RB room at the next-level as Nash can finish thru contact, has gotten smoother with his change of direction and is one that can constantly finish his runs. Another one with nearly ideal measurables at the running back positon.

Nash is a 5’11 185 pound running back that I already have drawn up as a riser by next update or before. Hailing from the 11AA state champions of West Fargo Horace, with Nash you get a high level of fluidity and great durability thru contact areas as a running back that picks up steam quick especially once he gets in the open field. Surely the best next-level prospect we have thus far in this 2027 class rankings countdown, as our RB7 in the class and trending higher.
