Miles is the class of the running back stable for the 2027 cycle. Great size, speed and explosion combo here. Plays at a different level and speed than anyone else on the field. Has great feet at the line of scrimmage and vision off the the handoff. Explodes through the smallest of seams and can split the defense. Runs through contanct, great balance and field vision, makes moves at full speed, plays vertically and laterally, carries the ball with explosive power, has the finishing gear. Shows ability to be a receiver out of the backfield and catches the ball with his hands. Miles is one of the best in the nation and recently decided to stay home and play at The Zou.

Recent transfer from Timberland, came through at 6000 191 at Lindenwood in June and put up some decent explosion numbers with a 33.3vj and 10'4bj. At previous combines, Moss delivered a 4.77x40, 37.4vj and a 4.39ss. Notably, his hands (10") and wingspan (80.5") are massive for size. Play speed on film appears better than tested numbers. North-south, long speed, finisher type of ball carrier. Can put a foot in the ground and accelerate, and explosive turning the corner. Runs with nice pad level and explosive forward lean. Strong on contact, can run through tackles, keeps the feet moving fall forward. Has some spatial make you miss ability, navigates traffic, puts a foot in the ground and bursts upfield with explosiveness. Willing blocker that will bow up to the free rush. Shows all of his athletic traits in big flashes. Dealt with injuries early on in career. Growth is up and to the right, and a big fall could mean big things to come his way. Recently committed to Illinois State.

Thompson blazed a trail at the William Jewell camp in June with a 4.36x40. At 5080 182, he may be undersized in terms of height but not in terms of the scale and muscle build, has some size and mass to him at his stature. Quick and elusive on the field with long speed in space. Could be used exclusively out of the backfield or in more of an all purpose back role. Get him the ball in space with the ability to use his juice and wiggle to create something big. Can create mismatches out of the backfield in the passing game and be a great compliment to a dynamic wide open offensive concept. Got his first offer from a power level program in 2024, pulled in a pair of Division II programs this offseason. A big fall will expedite the process.

Burns measured in at 6000 184 at the William Jewell mega camp, popped 4.52x40, 10'0bj, 31.7vj in the testing portion. Versatile player on film aligned in the backfield, outside receiver, and safety. Future is definitely in the backfield. Has some burst through the line. Shows good feet in the hole and bursts through the other side. Runs routes out of the backfield. Can be elusive and evasive with his feet. Has make you miss ability, vision and contact balance. Really good in the the first 20-30 yards where he shows playmaking ability and explosiveness in the face of the defense. Shows toughness on contact with the ball and in the backfield. Will put a helmet to a chin in pass pro. Academic All State player with a 4.0 GPA. Has NAIA offers with a Division I grade.

Tillman is a recent transfer from East St. Louis (IL), and having a nice offseason highlighted by his performance at the Under Armour Next Camp Series in St. Louis where he ran a 4.5 and consistently won run and pass reps versus the linebackers in attendance in front of PRZ eyes. Track guy that was a home run threat for ESL's run to state last fall. Ran for 573 yards, 7 TD in 2025, 518 and 10 in 2024. Patient runner, waits for the play to develop, sees the hole and fires through. Has a good stutter step, shifty in the open field, slippery and hard to tackle in the phone booth. Quick to accelerate with good lateral agility. Has ability to create. Physical, can take contact at his size. Turns the corner with aggressive burst. Can be relied upon in the passing game based on combine performance. Has a collection of FBS and FCS offers. New school, new league, could result in new opportunites.

This big back stands verified 6010 193 and tested 4.77x40, 28.7vj, 9'4bj at the Lindenwood mega camp in June. Recently transferred from Jeffersonville (IN). Competitive sprinter that holds a 10.99 PR 100m, 22.69 PR 200m, ran anchor leg for the 5th place Class 5 4x1 relay team, anchor and first leg for the 4x2, and finished 6th at state in the javelin throw. Ran for 347 yards and 4 TD in 2025. Has great frame and size. Aligned at RB and Wildcat. Good ability to make the first man miss. Covers ground with his strides. Good in the hole, sees the cutback, has a good jumpcut to burst upfield. Runs hard with good enough speed to turn the corner and outrun defenders. Initial juice and overall athletic ability makes him tough to handle in the first two levels of defenders. Shows strength, toughness and aggressiveness running through and breaking tackles, pushing and dragging piles forward. Will run through a tackler as much as trying to make him miss. Has FBS and FCS offers, recently committed to Missouri State. Handles academic business with a 3.8 GPA.
