2029 Running back reshuffle:

Let's take a look at the top running backs in the 2029 class and what special trait each player possesses that makes them unique at such a tough position.It takes a lot of physical and mental toughness to be an effective back at a high level and this group below has all the goods to be really special this fall.    Power:   JJ possesses really good speed , he's extremely shifty , but make no mistake JJ has power for days. He is extremely powerfully built for such a young back but is already and bell cow for the DCC program who is expected to compete for a state tittle. Watching JJ on film its not hard to see he very rarely goes down on first contact. JJ runs trough arm tackles and when he does go down he moves the pile and almost always falls forward. JJ also possesses excellent vision for a young back and stay's patient and allows things to develop in front of him. Keep an eye on a big season incoming for JJ this fall.     VISION:   Willie Is a complete back but the one thing that really stands out to me is his vision. Willie shows great feet on film but his ability to see things forming in front of him and make a good cut speaks volumes for this young MLK back. I was very surprised to see time and time again Willie make the right read which leads to big runs. There are things that you either have it or you don't and patience and vision Are at the top of the list. Watch out for Willie to have a major impact on a very good MLK team this fall.     BALANCE:   Malik Has an excellent tool bag to be a big time back for the Heritage Hawks. Malik shows all the things you need to see on film to support this claim. I am extremely impressed with Maliks ability to stay on balance throughout a carry. Malik uses short choppy feet while around the line of scrimmage and never lets himself get to out of control. On multiple runs it shows Malik stay balanced and allow defenders to over pursue then sticks a foot in the ground and explodes up field for long runs. I am impressed with Maliks all around ability and am excited to see him put it all on display this season.     QUICK:   Another year another Terry in the backfield for the bulldogs. Jordan has very good overall speed but what I really like about Jordan is his quick decisive cuts he makes in traffic. Jordan says patient around the line of scrimmage then makes lighting quick cuts through traffic that have led to very long runs. With an offense built on physicality and running the ball I expect Jordan to put up big numbers this fall and would not be shocked to see big play runs all year from Jordan.     SPEED:   Rainer is a kid that I wrote on early in the spring and watching film on Rainer I just keep going back to the overall speed Rainer displays on the field. I am very impressed with Rainers first step and his ability to hit top speed in only a few steps. Rainer is not just a speed back so make no mistake he will get tough yards when he needs to put his head down and drive a pile. Rainer also shows a good ability to see a play and know when to bounce the ball outside or cut back up inside to get a few extra yards. Keep an eye on this Lake Orion team this fall and expect Rainer to make more than a few house calls for the Dragons.
