Malik Has an excellent tool bag to be a big time back for the Heritage Hawks. Malik shows all the things you need to see on film to support this claim. I am extremely impressed with Maliks ability to stay on balance throughout a carry. Malik uses short choppy feet while around the line of scrimmage and never lets himself get to out of control. On multiple runs it shows Malik stay balanced and allow defenders to over pursue then sticks a foot in the ground and explodes up field for long runs. I am impressed with Maliks all around ability and am excited to see him put it all on display this season.

Malik makes his much-anticipated jump into the rankings! Hatfield has the potential to become the best pure RB in this class before it’s all over. He already possesses tremendous strength, allowing him to rip through arm tackles and keep his legs churning for the hard earned extra yard. Beyond the strength is some deceptive speed. He regularly out runs angles and hits his top speed as he bursts through the gaps in the defense. As you’d hope for a running back, he’s a gym rat who loves to throw weight around, so his strength and explosiveness will only continue to develop over time.
