Recruiting Roundup: Top Prospects Land Initial Offers

The freshman sensation had a dominating season on both sides of the ball: 99 total tackles, three sacks, and nearly 1,000 yards rushing. He reminds me a lot of Notre Dame linebacker Drayk Bowen, a multi-phase contributor who runs through contact and delivers heavy hits with his closing speed. His most-recent offer is from Miami-Ohio. The 6-foot-3, 310-pound offensive lineman has good latch, slides his feet in pass pro, has a good lateral set, sustains rushers and keeps them between his feet. Plays within his frame well without overextending. I like Pettus is a guard at the next level, where he can fire forward off the LOS and create vertical push. Williams is a great center prospect. He can pin and pull effectively and create vertical push in the run game. I love his ability to drive his feet on contact; he can really take opposing defensive linemen for a ride if he gets his hands inside the pads and is able to sustain blocks.
