Film Room Friday- 5 NEW Alabama Prospects

It's Film Room Friday!   Today, we're watching five NEW talented players from around the state who really impressed us with their film from last fall.   We think these guys are going to have huge years in 2026- so don't miss out on them now. We'll be hearing a ton from them this upcoming season.    Cayden McGhee is a talented RB from Clay Chalkville who's heading into a huge final season this upcoming fall.   "McGhee is physical in between the tackles. He has a low center of gravity and runs hard, withstanding contact and breaking through defenders to grind out gains on the ground.   McGhee's best traits are his patience and elusiveness. He's great at seeing the field and follows his blockers to gain as many yards as possible and has the twitch to completely shake defenders by juking and changing his direction. There's a ton to like with McGhee's game- I think he's going to have a massive year as the lead back for Clay."   McGhee really stood out to me this week. He's a talented player on the ground who's shown a ton of great things in his tape. See for yourself:      [player_tooltip player_id='2227056' first='Noah' last='Moore'] is a dominant EDGE from New Brockton who found a ton of success in his junior season.   "Moore is a versatile defender who can line up and find success both on and off the line of scrimmage. He's a physical run defender up front who can easily work around offensive linemen with his speed, leverage, and power, constantly making his way to the ball carrier and stopping them for little to no gain.   Moore really excels as a pass rusher. His closing speed and ability to make plays in pursuit are no joke. No matter how far out of reach opposing QBs may seem, Moore has the motor, effort, and speed to fly in and take them down at any moment in a game. I really think Moore has a huge season for his defense this upcoming season, he's an impressive defender."   Moore made a ton of stand out plays for New Brockton last season and is sure to have more success in his senior year. We're all going to have to watch out.      [player_tooltip player_id='2227065' first='Nic' last='Catlett'] is a talented passer from Lincoln who's coming off an impressive junior campaign.   "Catlett has a live arm capable of making some really impressive throws both from the pocket and while he's on the move. He has laser accuracy on his passes, constantly putting the ball in places only where his targets can make a play on it and hitting them in stride perfectly all over the field.   I'm even more impressed with the velocity on some of Catlett's passes. He can zip the ball into some really tight windows, which is just another way he can take advantage of secondaries. When you combine all of that with his ability to improve and throw on the move, it makes him all the more impressive. I think we'll be hearing a ton from him in 2026."   Catlett will be a player to watch this upcoming season. He's opened up a ton of Lincoln's passing game and shown some great potential and skill in his tape. Take a look below:      [player_tooltip player_id='2227068' first='Easton' last='Hatcher'] is a talented OL from Straughn who made a huge impact upfront last season.   "Hatcher is an aggressive run blocker who can create wide lanes at the line and beyond. He explodes off the snap, plays with great leverage and power, and has impressive mobility at his size that he uses to work upfield and continue to pave the way for his teammates.   Hatcher is such a tough matchup in the trenches. His motor runs all four quarters and he plays through the whistle every snap, allowing him to constantly wear down opposing defensive linemen and sometimes even drive them back several yards or into the turf."   Hatcher has been a force in the trenches for Straughn and has a huge senior season ahead of him. Make sure you check out some of what he did last fall, you'll be impressed.      [player_tooltip player_id='2227070' first='Wallace' last='Hunter'] is a physical TE from Mountain Brook who had a breakout junior season last fall.   "Hunter is a dominant option in Mountain Brook's passing attack. He's huge, quick, and has the catch radius, hands, and skills after the catch to completely embarrass opposing secondaries. I love watching Hunter line up out wide- he's a matchup nightmare for smaller DBs and constantly uses his size and physicality to his advantage at the catch-point.   Hunter is just as impressive as a blocker. He's super quick to get off the line, and has the size, power, and hands to put defenders on their heels and open up space for his teammates. I think Hunter is going to see his stock soar in 2026- he's a complete TE with the talent, skill, and film to back it up."
