Colorado's Explosive Running Threats

Burrell is an exciting young piece for Manual. Plays RB/CB for them measuring in at 5'7 135-pounds. This previous season, he had 43 total tackles (17 solo, 26 assisted), 1 TFL, 1 sack, 2 INT, 2 FF, and 1 FR. Offensively, he had 30 carries for 344 yards with 3 touchdowns and 3 receptions for 40 yards. He has very good athletic ability due to very good balance, acceleration, speed, and good change of direction. As a running back, he thrives with his elusiveness and getting out to the perimeter. Good vision. Very good outside running. Burrell turns negative plays into positive ones. As a corner, he has very good man coverage. Stays stride for stride with the receiver down the stretch and uses his very good closing quickness to disrupt passes. Good tackling as well supporting in the run game. As he continues to bulk up and improve his game, Burrell will continue to attack opposing teams on both sides of the ball.     Bunton III measures in at 5'8 150-pounds and led all 2028 running backs in rushing last season. He had 184 carries for 1185 yards with 21 touchdowns, 31 receptions for 224 yards and 1 touchdown, 27 kick returns for 540 yards with 1 return touchdown. Bunton III has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good change of direction, speed, balance, with good jumping. Very good vision. Bunton III is a weaver. Pivots into open gaps with his explosive jump cuts and quickly gains top end speed. Very good inside running and outside running. Turns the corner and uses his home run speed to run past the 2nd and 3rd level of the defense. Very good juke moves and spin move to make defenders miss as well. Bunton III also has very good ball tracking and catching. Does a great job adjusting to the ball in flight and using his strong hands to hold onto the ball. He's the definition of a playmaker.     Towers measures in at 6'0 170-pounds playing RB/LB for Wiggins. Last season, he had 70 carries for 316 yards with 1 touchdown, 32 total tackle (16 solo, 16 assisted), 1 TFL, with 1 interception. Towers has good athletic ability due to very good balance, change of direction, good acceleration, and speed. Good vision. Picks, slides, and accelerates into the open hole with ease. Towers has good inside running, following the pads of his interior lineman in short yardage situations. Good outside running as well. Towers thrives with getting yards after contact. Uses his shiftiness and balance to make defenders miss, and shrug would be tackles. Good trucking and a good stiff arm too. With an off-season focused on improving his game, Towers will look to breakout!     Meglen is a must recruit back out of Wellington. Measures in at 5'8 165-pounds. He had 79 carries for 858 yards with 12 touchdowns, 15 receptions for 283 yards with 4 touchdowns, 26 total tackles (20 solo, 6 assisted), 3 INT, 3 PD, and 3 punt return touchdowns. Meglen displays very good athleticism due to very good balance, change of direction, speed, and acceleration. Explosive out of his stance using his very good vision and inside running to pick the correct hole to run through. Very good outside running. Will use his jump cuts to pivot from inside to outside when the gaps are covered. Does a great job gaining yards after contact. Bounces off defenders and uses his juke moves to make defenders miss. Very good ball tracking and good catching out of the backfield. Any time the ball is in Meglen's hands expect something positive to happen. Great young playmaker who has consistently improved.     Lewis is an electric dual threat QB who thrives with the ball in his hands rushing. Measures in at 5'10 165-pounds. Last season, he had 157 carries for 1552 yards with 24 touchdowns, 60/124 for 873 yards, 48.4% completion rate, 7 TDs, with 6 interceptions. Displays very good athleticism due to very good balance, acceleration, speed, with good change of direction. Lewis has good throw power with a good release. Good pocket presence and uses his quick feet to evade defenders. Lewis does a great job at extending plays and using his athleticism to punish the defense. Very good scramble ability. As a rusher, he has very good vision and weaves through the defense. Smooth jump cuts to make defenders miss. Lewis is explosive out in space with good juke moves and his very good contact balance. Sheds tackles and continues to run forward for the big gain. Intriguing QB prospect to keep an eye on.
