Buzz Generators: Ohio Underclassmen Prospects Picking Up Steam

Some prospects in the Buckeye State have been flying under-the-radar for many months, but that has changed this week as many of them have landed their first offers. Some of these prospects are likely to generate even more recruiting attention as college camp season rolls around. Here are four prospects to know as we progress through June.    [player_tooltip player_id='450427' first='Brysen' last='Hall'] has a cannon for an arm. He hits receivers in stride all over the field, is consistently accurate in the short/intermediate game, and has great touch on the deep ball. Great velocity over the middle of the field, can make tough throws with defenders in his face, stay in the pocket and pull the trigger. He earned an offer from Syracuse.     [player_tooltip player_id='1653769' first='Landon' last='Phillips'] is a strong defensive end prospect with good first-step quickness and a nose for the ball. Philips, a 6-foot-2, 230 pounder, impressed at Miami University's camp for underclassmen where he picked up his first offer from the Redhawks. Good academics with a 3.5 GPA. Also contributes as a tight end on offense where he flashes being a great blocker. Keep an eye on him this fall to have a breakout junior year.     Dieter Weber is a solid all-around quarterback out of Dover. The Class of 2028 prospect is 6-foot-2, 187 pounds, and effective at throwing on the move and eluding rushers in the pocket. Good roll-out throw to his opposite side, has a quick release, great accuracy and timing over the middle of the field. Also played 2.5 games at wide receiver and defensive back; also plays basketball. Had 2,017 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and four interceptions last year with a school-record 76 percent completion percentage. Earned his second offer from Uconn in June.     [player_tooltip player_id='2212610' first='Alijah' last='Levengood'] has film that really pops. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect in the Class of 2029 has huge upside. Very versatile contributor; hard hitting defensive back who can deliver big hits and takes great pursuit angles. Flashes explosiveness, excellent instincts and quick read-and-reaction time on defense. Very high-academic prospect so far. Good frame, high upside recruit. Earned an offer from Miami-Ohio.
