Summer is often where prospects separate themselves, and this group has taken full advantage of the offseason circuit. With strong camp performances, weight room refined physiques, and solid combine results - these prospects are confirming what we're seeing on tape. As the recruiting boards continue to evolve, expect these names to remain firmly in the conversation.

I've been high on Howard for a while now and he has spent the summer confirming previous evaluations and proving that the film doesn't lie. His elite competitive nature stands out in these summer sessions- especially at the catch point. He willingly fights through contact, size disadvantages and refuses to surrender opportunities similar to an All-NBA defender. He consistently finishes plays and flashes his athleticism matches his drive to win.

Through these sessions Howard's versatility to thrived in multiple coverage schemes. In zone he has the IQ to get depth, break off on passing routes, or tackle the catch. In man he switch it up between on and off coverage while remaining reactive to the route. With the film pilling up offers are sure to follow.

McClure has been one of the biggest stock risers of the summer and continues to validate what the film suggested. With verified 4.4 speed and an extremely polished route tree- coaches had no choice but notice. The refinement in McClure's game shines at the line of scrimmage. His quick feet matches dynamic footwork and creates instant wins with his releases. He also seems to have improved his use of leverage in 1v1 situations.

Once he's into the route, McClure stacks with sharp breaks, body control, and positioning to create a window for throws. As a space creator who inherently generates chunk plays he's easily had one of the best camp tours so far.

Peterson has put himself on the map with highlight-reel catches, crisp route running, and production against high- level competition. For his age Patterson is easily one of the more advanced route runners in his class. He's efficient, controlled, and moves with intent. With impressive snap at the top of routes and the ability to maintain balance/ speed through transitions

Despite his lack of traditional size is his ability to play above the rim is elite. This vertical explosiveness makes 50/50 balls 80/20 in his favor. Peterson's extended catch radius jumps off the tape with elite adjustment skills and consistent hands. While routinely making plays outside of his frame he still shows the speed, coordination, and competitiveness to be No.1 receiver in the fall. With his camp performances pilling up look for Peterson to be mentioned amongst the elite as the offseason progresses.

Scott's has seem to taken the leap as a pass rusher this offseason. The first step was already is more explosive however his hand usage is noticeably more aggressive and effective. Scott has also seems to have a better grasp of a rush plan when attacking blockers. Rather than relying solely on elite athleticism, he's beginning to string together moves and setting up counters with purpose.

His hands and feet are more in sync, allowing him to optimize his rush quickness, energy, and create cleaner paths to the quarterback. Scott fits the mold of the modern edge defender — sacrificing some bulk for speed, flexibility, and disruption. As his technical refinement continues to improve, his ability to generate pressure should only increase this fall.

Johnson's stock continues to rise despite already being among the elite prospects in the state. With offers from legacy programs, top-tier SEC schools, and the reigning national champions, he's having an extremely hot summer. The 2028 prospect is being recognized on a national scale.

This pursuit is justified when you turn on the tape. Johnson remains one of the state's most dangerous two-way weapons and is easily a Power Four player on either side of the ball — which is extremely rare. His dynamic athletic profile allows him to line up anywhere and match up with anybody. This Travis Hunter-esque duality is intriguing, to say the least

His speed, range, and physicality give him a major advantage at safety, where he can operate as a centerfielder, constantly making plays on the ball at all levels. Offensively, he's a dynamic weapon capable of changing a game on a single snap. Johnson's lateral quickness, cutting skills, and natural feel in space make him a problem as both a receiver and running back. He can stack moves, get loose at the line of scrimmage, and do damage after the catch. This uncanny blend of athleticism, skill, and youth is why nearly every school in the country is clamoring for his services.
