He does an excellent job of running behind his pads and making strong decisive cuts. Prosper post a 4.5 40 yard dash this summer and blends his speed and power extremely well. The oiler senior to be is one of many returning starters in mt. pleasant and there is reason for optimism that the oilers make a strong run again this fall. I am not sure there is anyone more active in this capacity than him. The 2029 defensive lineman has really shown out on the circuit. Merrick's motor never stops and the sturdy built lineman does not get pushed of his spot. I am extremely impressed with the variety of moves that the young lineman has in his bag. His light feet combined with raw power have made this young man a name to watch as we move forward. I first saw Jackson at the prep redone camp at Lawrence tech university and I walked away extremely impressed. Jackson battled all day long and showed good feet and excellent balance during one on one drills. Since that camp it's very obvious that he has no plans to slow down. This 2027 Romeo linebacker can do it all. He has excellent side line to side line speed and is extremely tough against the run. Jayden takes on blockers well and sheds blocks to attack the ball carrier. The rangy linebacker shows excellent speed and shows up with bad intentions when he arrives at the ball carrier. I was impressed with Lindon's ability to read plays and take good angles to get to a spot to make a play. Lindon displayed a high motor and does not allow himself to get blocked out of a play.
