Top Performers from the FCPS Showcase

<p class="text-gray-700">Feels like each season Lake Braddock is developing the next freak pass rusher and this kid looks the part. Not only will Pulliam be flankered by all state selection [player_tooltip player_id='2148198' first='Josiah' last='Bolme'], he was one of the best performers overall Friday night at Robinson. He passes the eye test with his frame and his testing numbers were some of the best on site. He is 6'2 and 215 lbs. of brute strength, Pulliam ran a 4.6 40 and had a broad jump over 9 feet. He will be ranked in our next update, and has a chance to be a breakout star in Northern Virginia.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">If I was picking a FCPS Showcase MVP Mount Vernon star [player_tooltip player_id='1718647' first='Treavor' last='Olmstead'] would of had serious consideration. He was amongst the top of nearly every testing drill and looked good in the individual sessions. Olmstead can fly out of the gate and ran an impressive 40, he is among many reasons why my stock is high on the Majors post-season run. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">One of the most underappreciated backs in the state last fall, Sam Rhye out of Lake Braddock had a great night. His testing numbers were at the top in nearly every category and he looks faster then when I saw him test at our Winter showcase. This is another player out of our 2027 class that I expect to see offers come through before week 1. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Valencia is an all conference linebacker who looks the part each time I watch him on tape or in person. He posted great numbers running a 4.67 40 for a linebacker should of had all the college coaches in attendance on notice. Thought he looked really smooth in the individual drills, he should transition well at the next level. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/sebastian1val/status/2055487559833124913?s=20 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">With the departure of Jason Lartey (graduation) and [player_tooltip player_id='1692399' first='Wesley' last='Flamer'] (Transfer) the Bulldogs will need more defenders to step up. [player_tooltip player_id='1682701' first='JJ' last='Hill'] has already done that and then some, he was one of the best prospects I saw Friday night. Running a good 40 at 4.7 and a broad jump over 9 Feet, Hill looks ready to lead. He has been tearing it up during the 7v7 circuits also, this will give opposing defenses more to worry about too. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Vazquez looked like a Division 1 linebacker last year earning second team all conference honors for Oakton. Heading into his final season with the Cougars he looks even bigger and faster than this past season. There is no way we should have Watch Listed him, he was too talented before and he is certainly too talented now. Bain made a statement to everybody Friday night, whether it was in the testing or 1v1s, he had everyone talking. You will be hearing more from this kid come fall, a true playmaker who opponents will have to key on. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">My guy [player_tooltip player_id='1312066' first='Emmett' last='Murphy'] had some impressive routes during the 1vs1s and he had solid testing numbers to boot. Murphy is too strong off the line to be jammed so corners better be ready to back peddle to keep up. [player_tooltip player_id='2211270' first='Abdul' last='Brown'] looked stout in the 1v1 portion he is a stud at 6'1 and 170 lbs.. Ran a 4.8 laser timed 40 and a broad jump over 9 feet, do not sleep on this rising senior. I saw him up close blow past defenders and I loved how he did not want to take one rep off. </p>
