Brady owned the combine session with four top 20 marks, including first in the L-drill (7.03) and broad jump (10'0"), and had the second-fastest shuttle with a 4.35. Watching Brady during drills, I was impressed with how sharp he is as a route runner, displaying clean footwork, sudden stop/start, a great release, and a sharp change of direction. He was very consistent, flashing the ability to get low with his hips before exploding through his break, leading to separation at the top of the route. Brady was one of the top deep-threat receivers in attendance with excellent straight-line speed and tracking ability that helps him get under the ball. Brady's inside-outside versatility also makes him an interesting player who can be moved across the formation to take advantage of matchups. Very good 1v1 reps, where he showed he can match the physicality from opposing defenders at the catch point. Massive upside!

Fairmont's [player_tooltip player_id='1326535' first='Rudy' last='Carrillo'] made a big statement going into the offseason, leading into his senior year. Rudy lit up the testing session with four top 20 marks, including a ridiculous 9'10" broad jump (#2 overall), along with a 4.90 40-yard dash, 4.63 shuttle drill, and a 7.31 L-drill. Carrillo is a strong, physical receiver who can use his sturdier frame to power through attempts at jamming him at the line. Rudy projects well in the slot, where he will be able to outmuscle smaller DBs while also being faster than most LBs lined up against him. He attacks the ball well and does a good job making "hands" catches and following it through the catch process. Rudy ran some sharp routes, really displaying his ability to change direction and explode through his breaks. Definitely someone to get on campus this summer for a deeper look!

Shady Spring's [player_tooltip player_id='1701492' first='Gage' last='Spears'] is a player who caught my attention during the winter showcase and was a bright spot again this time. Spears kicked things off with a great testing portion that resulted in a 4.87 40-yard dash, 4.75 shuttle drill, 7.41 L-drill, and a 9'2" broad jump. My biggest takeaway from Gage's performance on Sunday is that he is a versatile receiver who can win 1v1s with his route running or by using his bigger frame to outmuscle defenders. He is quick getting off the ball and has sneaky straight-line speed that can threaten defenders vertically, while also doing an excellent job tracking the ball deep. Spears has big hands that can go up and snag the ball, even when dealing with contact from the defender. Gage isn't just a deep-ball receiver, as he showed he can work all three levels of the field. High upside prospect who is only starting to scratch the surface.

Bluefield wideout [player_tooltip player_id='1311053' first='Paxtyn' last='Calhoun'] had a solid day overall with an especially impressive 1v1 session. Paxtyn started off by showing he can move well for a bigger receiver during the testing portion, with marks of 4.88 40-yard dash, 4.85 shuttle drill, 7.41 L-drill, and a top-five mark of a 9'5" broad jump. These numbers carried over to live reps, where he used his explosiveness to expand an already lengthy 6'3" catch radius by elevating to haul in passes at the high point or to make difficult receptions outside his frame. Paxtyn's bigger frame also allowed him to be more physical against DBs, which helped him beat press coverage with his strength and can "out-physical" them at the catch point. After Sunday's showcase, I can see why Paxtyn is listed as the top receiver in West Virginia's 2028 class.

Woodrow Wilson's [player_tooltip player_id='2114183' first='Christian' last='Wilson'] seems to have a bright future ahead of him after a great performance on Sunday. Christian posted solid times in the testing portion with a 4.91 40-yard dash, 7.44 L-drill, and a 9'6" broad jump which was fourth best at the event. Wilson, who is only going into his sophomore season, proved to be very twitchy and elusive with his route running. His smooth gliding and crisp footwork allowed him to run sharp routes that helped him create separation from defenders. Christian does a great job stemming his route before displaying a shifty change of direction. Good release coming off the ball. Wilson projects very well as a slot receiver who can torch DB/LBs and be a reliable target over the middle of the field.

Make sure to follow @PRZ_OscarG for more news on Nebraska and Iowa HS recruiting.
