Slime U, one of my favorite teams of the day. Chock full of talent on both sides of the ball, this team moved deliberately with speed and focus for the entire duration of the PA Classic tournament. Another team that finished Saturday without a blemish to their record, Slime U maintained the momentum into the first matchup of the day where they beat Prototype Legacy 27-4, only to fall in the next round to CT Prime. This team is impressive to say the least, and if they have any more tournaments planned for this offseason, I think you will continue to hear about them making a deep push into the playoffs every time.

I didn't see [player_tooltip player_id='1396263' first='Haiden' last='Redman'] let up a single pass his direction during any of Slime U's games that I watched. Haiden stays very low in his back peddles and moves with fluidity that you don't often see in his age group. When he needs to transition back up field, he does so with authority and accelerates out of the transition to keep tabs on his man.

On offense, Haiden's smoothness transition to quickness in his break and the speed to get away from the DB. He has a keen eye for coverage's, seeing the flow of the secondary and making it an easy pitch and catch like in the video below. Haiden is not only the top NJ DB in my mind, but is climbing up as one of the top overall athletes in the entire state.

Only a 2031 prospect, Carl separated himself as one of the top athletes at the PA Classic event this past weekend. Excelling on both sides of the ball, Carl lined up as the safety for his defense and did a phenomenal job keeping the play in front of him, never giving opposing offenses the opportunity for large chunk plays. With his head on a swivel and feet constantly moving, Carl picked up any receiver entering his territory. He put his skills on display when his quick play recognition allowed him to jump a route across the middle, nearly picking it off and going the other direction. As a receiver, Carl is very twitchy and even more dangerous once the ball is in his hands. Carl is setting himself up for a very bright future.

Iziah continued to impress once again this weekend at the PA Classic. While 7v7's aren't typically the place where RBs and LBs get to shine, Iziah made the most of every opportunity and impressed the scouts in attendance. As a backer, Iziah played sticky in coverage when receiver's crossed the middle. Even if the other team was able to complete the pass, he was able to hold them to a 2-3 yard gain. Offensively, Iziah lined up out of the backfield and showed that he can be a receiving target as well. Iziah is a strong, built RB, so I am excited to see what he can do once he puts the pads on this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105662' first='Gabriel' last='Estrada'] was one of the two quarterbacks that were in rotation for Slime U this past weekend. Gabriel consistently moved the ball down the field with precision throws and smart decision making. He has a lot of zip behind the ball for a 2031 prospect, but would also provide touch to clear it over the first line of defense to hit his man in stride. Gabriel seems to be very athletic, so I am excited to see what he can do when his legs are unleashed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2143389' first='Amarri' last='Cephas'] had one of the most electric catches of the entire weekend. Running a quick slant across the middle, Amarri then turned up field and outran the entire defense for a score. The ability to maintain his speed through the catch and still continue to accelerate in the open field caught every player in the secondary off guard. Amarri showed superb route running skills through the tournament and is a true, natural wide receiver.
