[player_tooltip player_id='476854' first='Zack' last='Parker'] is an outstanding talent at the quarterback position, and this is something I have known for a long time now since I have covered Parker since his middle school days. I have watched him up close in person and of course on film, he's spectacular and nothing he does comes to a surprise to me although they are very impressive. His dynamic ability to stand in the pocket, scan the field and deliver a timely ball to his target, the ability to escape when need be and what's really impressive is how Parker is able to maneuver in the pocket or outside of it and keep his eyes down field and still making the throw. Look for a special 2026 season from him.

Recruitment: Parker was most recently at the University of Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt University and Nebraska. He had a recent visit to Georgia and will be visiting Penn State, Virgina, Virgina Tech, Tennessee, Ohio State and Kentucky all in the month of April.

Parker currently holds five D1 offers as a freshman, now a rising sophomore. Those offers include, Tulane, Syracuse, UAB, Memphis and Kentucky.

Not many in the Peach State have recently had a hotter streak on the recruiting trail than Rome's [player_tooltip player_id='1626146' first='Aidan' last='McPherson'] and for good reason. McPherson played out of his mind in the 2025 season and soon after he started to really catch attention from D1 programs across the Country. McPherson's ability to adjust quickly from standing in the pocket to maneuvering his way out of trouble to extend plays is second to none at his position in the state of Georgia. He has the ability to deliver the ball down field to his targets from the pocket, or he can get gone in a hurry to hurt defenses. He enters the 2026 season as one of the state's best and as one of Rome High Footballs leaders.

Recruitment: McPherson has recently picked up offers from Navy, West Virgina, Marshall, Jax State University, East Carolina, Boston College, Georgia State and several more.

McPherson is committed to Duke University.

I have been saying this for some time now and I still believe it as most would too, [player_tooltip player_id='262739' first='JR' last='Harris'] is one of the best and most dangerous quarterbacks in all of the Peach State and he brings a level of dynamic that only few in the state do. The 2027 signal caller has a cannon arm and legs that can get out in a hurry and hurt defenses. Harris is extremely dangerous scrambling and extending plays while keeping his eyes down field delivering a strike to his targets in a very timely manner. He is one fun player to watch, and he is expected to have an outstanding season this year.

Recruitment: Harris recently picked up a D1 offer from University of West Georgia and has an offer from Samford University, Georgia Southern, Toledo, UTM, and Georgia State. You can expect more to come his way sooner than later.

One of the best to burst on the scene last season was [player_tooltip player_id='404832' first='CJ' last='Cypher'] and he did it as a freshman helping his team reach the 6A State Championship game. Cypher is a guy I have covered since his middle school days and rightfully so. Cypher has a great ability to deliver the ball to his targets whether it's contested or not. He has the ability to escape but he is really special at standing tall in the pocket and using his IQ and arm talent. He has great size and as he continues to develop under an amazing coaching staff at Carrollton, watch out.

Recruitment: Christian Cypher just recently received an offer from Ohio State University. He has picked up other offers from Virgina Tech, Wake Forrest, South Carolina, UAB, Florida, Georgia Tech, Georgia, FSU, Miami among others. He is the top ranked quarterback in the 2029 class for us here at Prep Redzone.

[player_tooltip player_id='409921' first='Derrick' last='Baker'] is a complete dude at the signal caller position. Baker has outstanding size, arm strength and ability to move while keeping his eyes on his targets. He is a high IQ guy who will take major strides this season and be the driving force behind a powerhouse program at Milton. Baker has an amazing coaching staff surrounding him and as he has a big off-season, that will be on display this fall before we know it. Baker is going to have a big year.

Recruitment: Baker holds several offers including UNLV, Colorado State, Boston College, Virgina, FSU, VT among others.

Baker is committed to Tennessee.
