Is Slime University the team to beat this weekend? I am very high on what this team is capable of at the PA Classic. A lot of these players I've known for 2+ years now and have been thoroughly impressed with what I've seen on the field and at Prep Redzone Next camps. 7v7's give us a little better understanding of how the players compete in live action, and how we can expect it to translate back onto the field once they put their pads on. Slime U is in a great position to not only make a run this weekend but solidify their standing in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1396263' first='Haiden' last='Redman'] DB Deptford 2030

I can't say enough good things about [player_tooltip player_id='1396263' first='Haiden' last='Redman']. An elite defensive back that has taken home MVP honors at every Prep Redzone event he has attended, Haiden is at the top of his class and has never given me any reason to think otherwise. If you get the chance to see Haiden this weekend, you will see a DB that won't let up a single big play in 1 on 1 coverage. He is one of the most natural movers in the secondary that I have seen, and fits the definition of a true lock down cornerback.

[player_tooltip player_id='1396304' first='Iziah' last='Guzman'] RB/LB Camden 2030

Another NJ player I have been familiar with for a while now, Iziah has dazzled with what he has done on the field thus far as a running back. From what I can tell from previous events, Iziah may be utilized as a slot receiver this upcoming weekend and an LB in coverage. Seeing the RBs run routes from the slot give us a great understanding of how dynamic they can be in space and also how crisp their agility and foot work is. Iziah has a great opportunity to show how a bigger framed RB like himself can move so smoothly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2093941' first='Carl' last='Lomax'] ATH 2031

Carl is a quick rising athlete in the 2031 class. Receiving "Top RB" honors from the Prep Redzone Who's Next event earlier this year, Carl's trajectory is only up. What I was impressed to see out of Carl back at Who's Next is how well he meshed with the 2030 class. You couldn't tell the class difference because Carl stepped right up and performed at one of the highest levels at the combine. Carl is a very clean, fluid runner, and I look forward to seeing how it translates to route running. I am excited to see where he takes reps on the defensive side of the ball as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105858' first='Warren' last='Sharper'] ATH 2030

Listed as an athlete in the 2030 class, Warren is a player that has a great opportunity this weekend at the PA Classic to elevate his status by putting on some big performances. Warren attended the Who's Next camp in January as well, however, I didn't get the chance to evaluate him throughout the drills. His testing results didn't fly off the screen, however, Warren has had 3 months since the event to perfect his craft so I expect a better outing when he steps onto the field Saturday.
