This past Saturday, Myself, and Prep Redzone New York had the privilege of attending Elite 11s New Jersey Reigonal at Votee Park. Over 50 Quarterbacks, from across the Country, and a few from outside the country headed to Northern New Jersey to compete to be named an Elite 11 Finalist. I made my way across the field, and watched multiple different drills. In this article, I take a look at my Categorial MVP's from the afternoon in Votee Park.

I mean the obvious Combine MVP has to be [player_tooltip player_id='501394' first='Trent' last='Buttles']. The St. Francis New York QB, had an insane testing day before being named as one of the top ten accuracy performers. Buttles finished his day with a 4.18 agility shuttle, and ran a 4.54 40-Yard dash. Both of which are extremely impressive for a QB. Trent can easily play both sides of the ball, and Rutgers is getting a stud.

Sutton made his presence felt early in the North East. The North Dakota QB, was named the Accuracy Challenge Co Winner in the 2028 Class. The 6'0" 185-Pound QB, had an impressive day against some of the top QB's across the north east. He showcased a strong arm, with good footwork. I liked his ability to throw a quick strike, while keeping the ball at a perfect level. His comeback routes were excellent, and he put the ball on the money on every throw. The Midwest QB, dominated in the North East this past weekend.

Class, we have Ben Halevi. The North Cobb Georgia Prospect, is unranked in the 2028 class for Prep Redzone, and was one of the most impressive prospects in attendance. He finished with a score of 20. Halevi had a quick ball, that came out with good mechanics throughout the day.

Lawson Tyler was the most accurate QB in attendance at the New York Reigonal. With an impressive 23 Score in the Accuracy challenge, Tyler finished above top prospects from across the north east. Standing at 6'5" 200-Pounds, He threw quick strikes, and worked through his mechanics and footwork well during reps. Tyler is a very impressive QB from PA.

Snee has untapped arm talent and potential. I could only choose the Paramus Catholic QB, for one of these categories, and I will give him Arm Talent. Snee stands at 6'3" 190-Pounds, and displays an impressive build for a 2029 Prospect. He but his arm on full display, showing a quick strike with good accuracy, and the ability to hit all three levels of the field. Snee is a future D1 Prospect at the QB position.

Multiple QB's could fit this category, but in this article, I will give the nod to Coatesville's QB Mikal Shak Jr. The 6'4" 195-Pound QB, was recently named as Pennsylvania's top QB prospect. Shank had pretty mechanics, and delivered the ball quickly with accuracy. After watching more film on Shank Jr, I am impressed with the progression he has gone through over the past few years.

Moving to the Release portion of QB's, [player_tooltip player_id='400828' first='Christopher' last='Vargas'] was the first name that came to mind for me. The St. John's Prep Signal Caller, displayed an impressive 6'5" 190-Pound frame, which made him stand out in each drill. After watching his reps, this past weekend, Vargas had the prettiest release of any QB, leading him to good balls and a solid performance. The New England QB, has a bright future.

The Red Bank Catholic Prospect, was one of a few 2029 recruits in attendance for the New York Reigonal. Rivera displayed a solid 5'11" 190-Pound frame, which for a Freshman QB was impressive. Rivera had a solid performance throwing the ball, on Saturday, displaying a strong arm with good accuracy and a solid release. He moved well with solid footwork and mechanics, both of which can continue to improve. Rivera was an impressive young QB in attendance.

One QB stood out from the rest, and that QB earned him self an invitation to the Elite 11 Finals. The top QB in the New England Region, Bourque was all around impressive on the day, showcasing a strong arm paired with good accuracy on his throws. His mechanics and footwork were deemed ready for an Elite 11 Finalist, and his frame at 6'4" 205-Pounds, is exceptional for a QB, and next level ready. Bourque will head to LA for the finals, and was the ninth QB invited.
