The offense actually became <em>more</em> pass-happy with the then-freshman than the FBS-signed senior. But there was a positive change that shows his true upside. Majette went from hardly using his legs in 2024 to relying heavily on the QB running game in 2025. The commitment to his mobility led to 15 rushing scores and over 600 yards on the ground. He has an excellent arm and is refining his mechanics, which should help him build on a promising junior season. He's the leading returning passer, averaging nine yards per attempt in 2025, and he's also the top rushing threat, after putting up 350 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. The Cougars lose one of the state's top rushers, so I expect Knox's volume to tick up. Don't be surprised if he uses his legs more, as well.
