The natural maturation of a football program is developing their junior varsity players for the Friday night lights. These sophomores have proven they are ready for that next step in their football career.    After watching Andrews game tape I am convinced he will be a future all conference running back. With a low center of gravity and a solid build, Rivera is already a load to tackle, adding in his agility and vision coming out of the backfield makes that task even harder. His film shows his ability to play multiple coverages, break on balls that are in the air and set the edge as a CB and make tackles. Mayes looks poised to have a very good varsity career at DB. In his sophomore year at Davison he showed the ability to down block and climb to the next level without problem. He is very fluid and moves with ease, that contributes to his ability to pass set, and to make reach blocks. Jackson in my opinion has shown the full arsenal of what you want your starting left tackle to be able to do on any given Friday night.      Liam is the prototypical mock up of the new age quarterback. With his dual threat ability he is able to put immense pressure on opposing defenses. As a sophomore he showcased the ability to make throws down the middle of the field, towards the sideline and event contort his body to make off platform throws. With [player_tooltip player_id='1615740' first='Liam' last='Arnold'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1618168' first='Andrew' last='Rivera'] in the backfield, Dakotas offense seems to be in great hands for the foreseeable future.      Players who can contribute multiple ways at different positions are a coaches best friend, and that's what makes Gavin a special player. His game speed makes it hard for DBs to stay in front of him and his agility and shiftiness makes it hard to box him in on punt and kick return. As an athlete, he was used a deep threat and a ball carrier on jet motions. As Gavin continues to develop as an overall athlete, you can expect to see him being used as a jack of all trades for Okemos.      Logan looks like a very polished JV running back. A lot of his longer runs came from carries in between the tackles which to me is very impressive for a sub varsity player. He is also fast enough to get around the edge and take it to the house. Defensively he played very solid at safety defending passes deep down the field.
