2027 Electrifying Quarterbacks to Watch

<p>In This Article I will be evaluating five of the must-see quarterbacks entering their senior year. These Five Quarterbacks are very talented and will do great things this upcoming season and will cement their names in their respected high schools.</p>    <p class="text-gray-700"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1311685' first='Marcus' last='Chapman']</strong> is a Dual Threat athlete who can get it done in the air and also on the ground. Chapman this past season put up impressive numbers putting up a total of 17 Touchdowns and completed 66% of his passes. I believe Chapman is a prospect that is to top his junior season and go all out one more season, Chapman has displayed elite arm strength and pocket awareness throughout his junior season. Chapman didn't just throw checkdowns he threw bombs down the field and put it where only his guys can make a play on it which led to him having 1,793 passing yards. [player_tooltip player_id='1311685' first='Marcus' last='Chapman'] has a decent amount of ability to get away from the pressure and still deliver a strike down field but not only that if that pocket is collapsing, he will use his legs to make a play, and he had done an amazing job of that this past season recording 668 rushing yards on 83 carries. As I evaluated [player_tooltip player_id='1311691' first='Jhalil' last='Holloway'] film, he showed a lot of poise to be able to sit in the pocket and take a hit and still a beautiful tight spiral that connects with his receivers. This past season Halloway had put up 794 passing yards and 519 rushing yards. Getting ready for his senior year he's coming for it all and he will dominate at a high level. Holloway has a clean throwing motion and has a ton of zip behind his throws which allows him to get the ball through tight zones. Jhalil is standing at 6'4" with elite mobility and speed, he does not go down without fighting for every yard. Throughout his film he has made multiple defenders look silly trying to tackle him, He gives every play a 110% every time. [player_tooltip player_id='1170697' first='Luke' last='Gaither'] is a pure pocket passer who can throw the ball at all levels from short, intermediate, and also deep. Throughout evaluating his film, it shows Luke being able to read coverages and step up in the pocket and throw an amazing ball. Holloway mechanics are second to none he is very polished and goes through his reads very well and make the best out of the play. I believe [player_tooltip player_id='1170697' first='Luke' last='Gaither'] is an amazing quarterback with excellent leadership skills and will give you 110% every chance he gets can't wait to see what he brings to the table this season.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">After diving deep into <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1313460' first='Kevin' last='Parker']</strong> film, he has showcased he can throw with some zip behind it, can also read coverages well and he is very poised in the pocket. [player_tooltip player_id='1313460' first='Kevin' last='Parker'] has a very smooth throwing motion and a very nice touch when throwing the ball that leads to him being very accurate. [player_tooltip player_id='1313460' first='Kevin' last='Parker'] is a two-sport athlete who plays basketball and the fundamentals and discipline and also footwork shows up on the field. Parker has a tremendous amount of talent to the point where he can also contribute on special teams as a kick returner and he is very exciting to watch and very twitchy so best believe he will make you miss tackles even if you take the correct angle. Parker has elite speed that makes him a complete dual threat at the quarterback position which leads to him breaking free from the pocket and getting down field but if he stays in the pocket you can see his pocket awareness on full display he is like a magician in the pocket and has the ability to make throws on the run at a very accurate rate. Going into his senior year it will be a movie because he is going to put on a clinic. Lonnie junior season put up crazy number throwing over 3,500 passing yards and 550 rushing yards with 43 touchdowns. As I evaluate Lonnie Film, he showcased his cannon of an arm and how he is able to step up in the pocket go through his reads and put the ball on the money. Lonnie has perfect ball placement and a beautiful spiral. Lonnie can make any throw from on the run to being under duress, He led Oscar Smith to a consecutive Class 6 state titles. This young man is remarkable and is favored to be a champion once again before he finalizes his senior year with the Warhawks.
