We're back with a new Recruiting Report! Today, we're diving into some recent recruiting news across the state. These prospects have had huge months, so we're diving into the latest surrounding their recruitment. As always, make sure you watch their film below! You won't want to miss out on this kind of talent. [player_tooltip player_id='1621018' first='Jahyden' last='White'] is a talented DL/EDGE from Florence who's seeing his recruitment take off this month. "White is a dominant force on the interior that can make your offense one-dimensional. He's terrific at defending the run, using his size, strength, and power to put OL on their heels, close down rushing lanes, and take down the ball carrier by the line of scrimmage. I'm really impressed with White's motor. He plays with phenomenal effort and pursuit, sometimes working through multiple blockers and across the field to create stops. I'm really excited to see what's in store for White; he's been dominant through the first half of the season." In the last week, White has picked up offers from Missouri and North Alabama! I was seriously impressed with White's tape a few weeks back and think he's only going to keep picking up more attention. We all need to keep an eye on him moving forward. He's a talented prospect with a bright future ahead. [player_tooltip player_id='2126210' first='Nate' last='Pride'] is another talented defender from Florence who's started to see his recruitment open up this past week. "[player_tooltip player_id='2126210' first='Nate' last='Pride'] is an extremely well-rounded member of Florence's defensive front that I think we'll be hearing a lot more from. He can both defend the run and rush the passer at a high level, has terrific instincts and IQ, and the athleticism to constantly keep opposing offenses stressing. I'm really impressed with Pride's pass rushing. He explodes off the line and has impressive speed and violent hands that help him fly by offensive tackles to get to the quarterback. It's really impressive seeing his pursuit and closing speed; he makes it impossible for QBs to get away from him. I'm excited to watch more of Pride moving forward- he's seriously impressed me." A few days back, Pride picked up his very first offer from North Alabama! I think Pride is going to see his recruitment take off soon. This offer is just the first of many. He has a ton of talent and will only have more schools take notice of him. Be sure to watch him moving forward. Branden Brown is a talented WR from Phenix City who just picked up his second offer this past week. "Brown is highly athletic and plays with a ton of speed and twitch outside. He's quick on his feet, finds tons of separation downfield, and has the hands to bring down some impressive receptions through coverage and contact. Brown is also an explosive playmaker after the catch- he quickly turns upfield, can make defenders miss, and has the speed to outrun entire secondaries." A few days back, Brown picked up another offer from UT Martin! He's a really talented player who deserves a lot more eyes on him. We need to watch him this upcoming season. He's set up for a huge senior season this fall, I'm excited to see what he can do. [player_tooltip player_id='1640014' first='Stafford' last='Willis'] is a talented OL prospect from Arab who's had a massive offseason in the recruiting world. "Willis is a dominant run blocker who opens up wide rushing lanes at the line of scrimmage nearly every snap- he plays with great leverage, has a ton of power, and gets great push off the line of scrimmage, holding his own and driving back defenders in the trenches. Willis is just as productive in pass protection- with his size, strength, and quickness, he matches up really well against DE/DTs and is terrific at mitigating pressure, consistently providing a clean pocket for his QB to work with every passing down." Willis has had a huge past week, picking up offers from Virginia Tech, Virginia, UNC, and more! It's been seriously impressive watching Willis the past two years. He's an incredibly talented OL with a bright future ahead of him; everyone needs to keep their eyes on him this coming season. [player_tooltip player_id='1955157' first='Quez' last='Johnson'] is a talented WR from Auburn who's had a terrific offseason in his recruitment. "Johnson has a really well-rounded skill set that he uses to dominate opposing secondaries every week. He's quick with his release, can get downfield fast, and can make contested catches through coverage and contact. Johnson adds a ton of value with his blocking. He's a physical blocker who helps open up huge opportunities in the run game for his teammates. When you combine that with his skill out wide, it makes him an asset to his offense on every down." Johnson has picked up two new offers in the past week, adding UT Martin and Samford to his list. I think Johnson is going to explode for Auburn this upcoming fall. He's a talented WR who can impact the game in several ways. We all need to watch for him over the next few months.
