The 2026 Fordham Prep ATH, has told be he will be reclassifying to the 2027 class. With this reclassification, he has announced he will be heading to the NEPSAC league and playing for Suffield Academy in Connecticut. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cameron is an outstanding athlete who displays excellent size standing at 6'2" 230-Pounds, and an exceptional IQ which allows him to impact the game in many aspects. Mercorelli who transferred into Cardinal Hayes from Hudson Catholic, missed most of the season due to an injury. Mercorelli will be heading back to NJ for his Senior Season, this time heading to Hoboken High School. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Standing at 6'3" 200-Pounds, Mercorelli displays an outstanding frame for a QB. He showcases an elite arm, paired with good accuracy. His IQ is off the charts and he excels at reading a defense. My top player in the 2028 class, Toomey has seen his recruitment take off in the past few months, and has surpassed 10 D1 offers. Toomey picked up his latest offer yesterday from Kentucky. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Toomey stands at 6'3" 245-Pounds, displaying an exceptional size for a DL. Toomey can legitimately play across the field, and has been used as a TE, RB, EDGE, and DL. Trent led his team to the Catholic League State Championship this season against Iona Prep, and had an exceptional year on both sides of the ball. Buttles has seen his recruitment blow up this season, with over 10 D1 offers rolling in for the talented ATH.
