Blackwell had by far the most impressive performance in the afternoon session and was highly competitive on both sides of the ball during the 1 on 1 segment of camp. He is a twitchy and explosive receiver with real downfield speed and seperation abilities, strong hands when making contested catches and showed he can run precise routes and get open underneath or over the top. Defensively, he had outstanding instincts, breaks quickly to the ball and outstanding ball skills/fluid hips in transition with plenty of recovery speed. Only a freshman, he is going to be a up and coming key name to note across the 2029 class and should burst onto the scene as a sophomore for Grant.

The Buchanan signal caller had a stellar day with the quarterback group and showed his athleticism and ability to throw on the run with a live arm downfield and tight throwing mechanics. He was smooth through drills, showed accuracy both in the pocket and from various throwing platforms and was the most accurate thrower on the day during competition and when fitting the ball into tight coverage. He should be really seeing his recruitment pickup after his performance over the weekend and is the next up and coming star signal caller from the valley heading into only his Junior season.

Hopkins has a rare combination of length, speed and size with plenty of room to grow and pack on weight through his college career. He is extremely physical at the LOS in press coverage, moves well laterally when breaking to the ball and is a natural peddler with fluid hips in transition and has recovery speed if beat downfield. He showed good ball skills and can turn and run with vertical threats and also has shown he is not afraid to come up and help in the run game. Holding one offer from Colorado State, Hopkins should continue to have a big spring and start gaining some increased buzz heading into his final year for Oakland.

Ward took home wide receiver MVP Honors and had a dominant showing in the afternoon session showing real downfield speed, strong hands and tracks well over the top and when making off-platform catches and showed he can come down with 50/50 balls. He can create good seperation at the top of his routes and is a smooth runner with short area twitch and a high IQ against zone coverage. Only heading into his Junior season for Edison, he should gather plenty more FBS offers and currently holds offers from Washington State, Sac State and San Diego State.
