Multi-Purpose Prospects Get Rankings Boost

We added hundreds of prospects to our rankings in Ohio last month for the Class of 2028. In our next article and multi-part series, we break down four new additions and will continue to do so throughout the months of February and March. These four early risers have a chance to become high-impact players in the fall and beyond.    [player_tooltip player_id='1949304' first='Trey' last='Bentley'] is a starting receiver for Alder High School. The Class of 2028 wideout earned a spot in our rankings with his size and speed combination, as well as his nifty route running and ability to get open. Bentley is strong after-the-catch and can run over defenders, and frequently requires multiple defenders to bring him down. He has a good frame for the position and the upside to shine at college camps this summer.     [player_tooltip player_id='1979652' first='Chase' last='Jackson'], a starting running back for New Albany, is a strong and tough running back who flashes juice when he gets in space. Jackson has good top-end speed to pull away from defenders and knows how to score, better as an outside runner as the team likes to get him into space He has good vision, displaying patience to follow blocks, and does a great job of blocking downfield as well. He is also a strong kick returner who can be hard to bring down.     George Rucker is a strong outside linebacker for Bedford. At 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Rucker has a long and lean frame with which to grow and add bulk. Rucker flows to the ball and flashes being a physical hitter who can run and deliver heavy hits. Instinctive, with good pursuit and hard-hitting ability, Rucker can knock back ballcarriers and takes great pursuit angles. Keep an eye on his recruiting to blow up over the next couple of seasons.     [player_tooltip player_id='1594486' first='Nicholas' last='Morano'] out of Medina is a tough run defender and strong defensive lineman/edge prospect who can sift through the line of scrimmage, wrap up and make open-field tackles. Morano has a quick first step, strong use-of-hands and plays with good bend and leverage. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound edge has a high ceiling and will be a name to watch during college camps.
