When I set out to rank these guys, I thought I'd have Johnson a bit lower on this list, but as I dug into his film, I'm so impressed with the breadth of what he's able to do. When asked, he can play in phase, hitting guys in rhythm and marching down the field. But under pressure, he has the athleticism to bail out to either side and cause problems for defenses. If he can stay healthy this season, he can do some serious damage.

El-Amin split time as a starter at Enloe two seasons ago, then transferred to Jordan, where he waited patiently behind a top senior. Now it's his turn, and the rising junior has a chance to be the best passer in the area. He's most comfortable as a pocket passer, but in limited action last season, he showed he has the athleticism to move the chains with his legs.

A true two-way player, George is athletic enough to thrive as a safety on the defensive side of the ball, and though he was a low-volume passer in 2025, the arm talent is there. The flashes are evident, and he has a great highlight tape full of impressive throws and the occasional athletic scramble. The keys will be consistency and confidence. As he starts to trust his arm (and legs) more often, I wouldn't be surprised to see him elevate the entire East Chapel Hill offense.

Stevenson continues to grow as a passer after first hitting the scene as a raw athlete. He cut down on the interceptions last season, but at times, seemed a bit timid to use his legs. I expect him to be more decisive when it comes to tucking and running, and that should give him the chance to put up bigger numbers on a promising Hillside squad.

Moody doesn't have a ton of volume in Orange's run-heavy offense, but he's had some big moments for the Panthers. Just a rising junior, Moody doesn't make many mistakes, and he makes excellent decisions in the option game. He has the arm talent to push the ball down the field when asked, and that puts Orange in a good position in a gettable conference.
