Buffalo Athletics made the trip to Morgantown from the Buffalo area and made an impressive showing in a runner-up finish. They went 3-0 in pool play on Saturday and made the final after two dominant games. They led throughout most of the final, but the winners, GC Motion, took the lead as time expired. Still, this Buffalo Athletics squad is well worth getting its own shine after an impressive weekend.    Mason was one of the quarterbacks on the squad, and he was very impressive. He makes good progress through his progressions. He has the velocity and overall arm strength to make tough passes on the boundary and into closing windows. He was accurate all weekend, and overall, he looked like the first-ranked player and quarterback that PRZ New York has him as.     Vincenzo was the second quarterback for the team. Buffalo Athletics swaps quarterbacks regularly, so it's not a backup case; they trust him to lead the offense. Like Mason, the processing he showcases is impressive. His ball velocity was great, and his accuracy at all levels was impressive. Like his teammate, I see why he is ranked high in PRZ New York.     Zion is a freak of a man. He's got a tall frame and is more of a technically refined receiver rather than a jump ball prototype. He adjusts his body well and can get off his route to come back to the ball. He's quick in reaction to the ball coming to him and can make late turn catches at a high clip. Zion was one of the best players I watched all weekend.     Alex was another piece of the pie for the team's success. He was a two-way player who made plays on both sides of the ball. As a defender, he has a knack for getting to the ball. He's quick to break on the ball, and his coverage instincts are present. As a receiver, he played inside and did a great job at creating separation over the middle of the field. He was a top performer in the final against GC Motion, finishing with a touchdown and two pass breakups.     Kenny was a dominant receiver for the squad. He could from the boundary and the inside. He has great body control and can win one on ones. Kenny plays bigger than his size is listed. He was a viable target at every level of the field, and showed out when close to the endzone. Defensively, he was sound. He has good hip fluidity that helps him in coverage, and can cover a lot of ground at a time.     Markel is an electric offensive weapon. He's unbelievably quick and is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He is shifty and has great body control. He was primarily used as an underneath option, which helped the other deep threats on the team because opposing defenses had to control Markel. His presence was huge on the field.     Jeremy was an impressive prospect. His frame is well built, and he's able to be strong physically. His hands are strong and he can make tough catches look easy. He's got quick feet and he's smooth as a route runner. Defensively, he covers ground well, and knows when to break on the ball. He can dominate one on ones and can take his guy out of the game at times.
