Alex was another piece of the pie for the team’s success. He was a two-way player who made plays on both sides of the ball. As a defender, he has a knack for getting to the ball. He’s quick to break on the ball, and his coverage instincts are present. As a receiver, he played inside and did a great job at creating separation over the middle of the field. He was a top performer in the final against GC Motion, finishing with a touchdown and two pass breakups.

Quarantello had a fantastic season as a two way player. He was Anderson’s top target (31-334-2 stat line) but he made the most noise as a DB recording a Section VI leading 9 INTs and named 6th team All State on defense. Alex was also named All WNY First Team and WNY Class A1 First Team All League.

led WSW into the post-season with a 7-1 regular season record. The main benefactor of their offense was Quarantello, whose fantastic athleticism and steady hands led to him leading the team in receptions.
The season did not end the way they wanted it to but with Anderson and Quarantello on the same offense, it will be trouble for the Class A opponents for the next two seasons.
