Watching Anderson play gives you that old school ground and pound feel. He is a two year varsity starter at RB and LB. Micah is devastating between the tackles and is rarely brought down by one defender. But on the defensive side, he has all the tools necessary to be the premier LB in Class A. Injuries has slowed down his statistical output but he is healthy now and I expect him to lead the Warhawks in tackles in 2026.

Anderson is currently unranked on Prep Redzone but that should change after this season. Injuries hurt Anderson’s progress as a sophomore but when he was on the field, he proved to be a tough as nails player and is expected to start the season as the Warhawks #1 RB and starting Middle Linebacker.

As a team, West Seneca West underperformed in 2024 but Anderson was a bright spot. Week in week out, Micah proved to be one of the best athletes on the Warhawks as he finished as the team’s best RB with his quick burst and hard-nosed running style. His tenacity translated to defense where he was one of the team’s best tacklers. Anderson will be a player to watch in his junior season and should be in for a breakout performance.

West Seneca West has had a rough start to 2024 and it didn’t look any better when the Warhawk’s leading back left their Week 4 game from what appeared to be a significant injury. Enter Micah Anderson Micah Anderson Micah Anderson 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB/RB West Seneca West | 2027 State NY , a relatively unknown prospect who made his presence known immediately. Anderson led the team with 87 yards from scrimmage and tied for the most receptions with 3. He was also all over the field on defense with 7 tackles. This is a player that is just getting going and will be player to watch in the second half of the season.
