Get 30% off your first billing cycle with code: howe30 in the coupon code area

We move towards late March a step closer to the 2026 season. Prep Redzone Iowa has continued preparations for it by rifling through student-athletes' highlight videos and churning out evaluations.

If you don't yet have highlights on your Hudl page, interested college coaches will be looking for them on there and elsewhere. Ask for help if you need it in compiling a video with any clips you have.

Here's another batch of fresh reports:

Columbus Catholic received significant contributions from Hosch on both sides of the ball in 2025. The versatile junior caught 36 passes for 567 yards and six touchdowns, all of which paced the squad, and added a two-point conversion. On defense, Hosch produced 22.0 tackles, 13 of which were solo stops. He tallied 4.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks. We can witness how he gets the job done during his 11th-grade highlight video. The first clip has him running a simple go route where he burns the defensive back deep down the field for a touchdown. Hosch runs a short comeback route on Clip 2, when he secures the catch and makes people miss in space. It's a well-rounded skill set at receiver. His frame is such that it can add plenty of good weight and strength in a college conditioning program. If he grew into a tight end, his speed, agility and athleticism would play up even more. Traits also are there for success at linebacker or safety, and he would help programs on the next level on special teams.

Tecklenburg has a frame and athleticism for college coaches to dream on. He can put on positive pounds and reach a significantly high ceiling in a strength and conditioning program on the next level. Of his 7.5 tackles in 2025, six were of the solo variety. He tacked on 2.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. Potential oozes out of his junior highlight video. On the first clip, Tecklenburg lines up off the far right end, explodes off of the snap and corrals the quarterback for a sack. It's impressive straight line speed with long arms to tackle or get up in the passing lanes. On the second clip, he whips the left tackle around the outside and runs down the scrambling signal caller racing to the opposite side of the field. He's unusually fast to the ball for a guy his size. Johnston moves him back and forth between the two outside spots. He works both equally well.

Kinney contributed 2.5 tackles, two of which were solo, and a tackle for loss as an 11th-grader in 2025. Most of his best work came on the offensive side of the trench, however. He was credited with 12 pancake blocks on an O-Line that paved the way for 2,171 yards (6.0 YPC) and 29 touchdowns along with 1,827 yards and 13 scores through the air. Kinney illustrates how he finds success during his junior highlight video. On the first clip, he fires off of the snap and pulls left from his right tackle position. Kinney picks off defenders in space, a play that features his athleticism, agility and power. Later, we see him line up at left tackle and destroy a defender on the second level. Kinney operates with violent hands and plays through the whistle, finishing blocks with a flourish. He still has growing to do and would look good on a plenty of college rosters.

I watched Aesoph in person during the Class 4A state semifinals and left the field impressed with his ability. He's a high-motor player that maximizes his natural ability with effort and drive. It led to him piling up 43.5 tackles, 24 of which were solo stops, for a Crusaders' outfit that reached the state championship game. He registered 8.5 tackles, 4.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and a pair of fumble recoveries, displaying his penchant for disruption. We can see Aesoph's current production and his upside during his junior highlight video. He reads the quarterback eying a screen pass on the first clip, when he steps in front of it for a pick after lining up at defensive tackle. Aesoph beats the right tackle on a spin move inside and drops the signal caller coming off of the edge on Clip 2. It's a versatile skill set that adds value to a college roster thanks to positional flexibility and ability to bring value on special teams.

South O'Brien benefitted from production on both sides of the ball with Warnke on the field in 2025. The junior led the team in rushing and added nine receptions for 91 yards. On defense, he tallied 25.0 tackles, five of which were solo stops. Warnke recorded 5.0 tackles for loss and recovered a fumble. His 11th-grade highlights on his Hudl page confirm his versatility as a player. Speed and quickness stand out as strength for Warnke. He's elusive with the ball in his hands, making people miss in space and turning on the jets to run away from them. Especially effective on pitches and tosses, where he can diagnose the defense and find running lanes. Warnke's cuts are sharp and he gets downhill in a hurry. His talents also play well on defense, where defensive back could be a positional path on the next level. He'd be a special teams' asset no matter where he lines up on offense or defense.
