Battle in the Bluegrass State: 14U WRs Who Put On a Show

He's a good receiver down the field and has good contact balance. He made some impressive TD grabs over the middle of the field and near the sideline. He has good speed and can get open at the top of his breaks. I like his physical size and the fact that he can be physical, even in a 7-on-7. On Sunday, he had one of, if not the best game, of anybody in the entire tournament. He made 1 of the most impressive 1 handed TD grabs that you'll ever see. He then almost had a 2nd incredible 1-handed TD but was just barely out. He's got good length and has a frame that thrives in the redzone. The big takeaway is he's got strong hands and can snag the ball out of the air. He's shifty, has elite acceleration, and can stop on a dime. Defenders were on skates throughout the weekend, trying to slow him down. He's best when you get the ball in his hands and let him react. On a weekend of 2-hand touch, he made it hard to get 2 hands on him. He's got good hands and won't drop an easy ball. He can make the over-the-shoulder catches down the field and make it look easy. He had one long bomb on Sunday that set them up to score and pull off the upset. If he catches a DB flat-footed, that rep is over. His straight-line speed is fantastic, and he can catch at full speed. He tore up multiple defenses up the seam and was almost always open in that area. He brings the ball in with ease and doesn't have to slow up to catch it. He helped convert a handful of key 3rd downs and put the Dream Team in position to score when they would need it. They had a slow day 1, but came out on fire on day 2, and Mack was a part of the reason why.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
