DeVaughn Walker is a starting receiver/defensive back for Jefferosnville High School. He caught our attention at the Prep Redzone 7v7 held in Kentucky this spring for his speed, highlight-reel catches and soft hands. Walker can high-point the ball, leap in traffic and come down in-possession. He is a strong route runner who can create separation on his own and make plays after the catch. An important name to keep an eye on in the years to come.

Walker had a good weekend and moments where he took games over. He’s a good receiver down the field and has good contact balance. He made some impressive TD grabs over the middle of the field and near the sideline. He has good speed and can get open at the top of his breaks. I like his physical size and the fact that he can be physical, even in a 7-on-7. He’s talented and showed what he’s capable of when given the opportunities.
